HORRIBLE-do not order flowers from this florist. I ordered a premium bouquet and was embarrassed by what was sent through . The flowers were placed beside the casket as this was a close relative. I looked like a cheap skate. Always go to a florist in person as you won’t get what you think you ordered on line…

I was on my way to Mt. Auburn Hospital, knowing I would go by this florist. I was picking up my wife from day surgery and was in a hurry. The man who helped me jumped into action and assembled a beautiful bouquet in a few minutes. And it was only $ 20! I highly recommend Cass The Florist.

This place is amazing and I sent a beautiful bouquet to a friend for her birthday for only $ 60. Great deal and great service. If you need a florist in the area definitely give them a call. The woman I spoke with was very friendly and helpful.

I called at 10:30 am to get an arrangement for a wake that began at 2:00. I didn’t love any of the sprays that were on the website so I gave the store pretty much carte blanche(the only condition was no carnations) to create one within our budget. They did a lovely job, really nice. Our flowers definitely stood out and were commented upon by the family. Thanks to Cass The Florist for helping us to honor my cousin.

Out to find some«just because» flowers and I have never been so impressed. The attendant asked a price range and colors I wanted and she helped me design a bouquet. The finished product was absolutely gorgeous and my SO was blown away.

Employees/owners are always pleasant and very helpful. Beautiful fresh flowers put together with knowledge and creativity. The flowers themselves last for weeks. I call with a price point and let them do their thing. Never have been disappointed. Recipients call with gushing compliments. Is nice to have that level of trust. Cass flowers is my go-to shop and their number is programmed on my phone.

A month ago, I walked into this florist after arranging a memorial service for my brother who had passed a few days earlier. I ordered a flower spray to be delivered to the chapel. When I walked in, no one bothered to greet me even though there were a few people clearly in sight. A woman finally noticed me and asked if she could help me using a tone of voice one might use to make someone leave you alone. I was taken aback but proceeded with my order. I asked if there was any possibility for a discount for paying in cash and was given an abrupt«No» for an answer. As I left, the woman finally said«sorry for your loss,» as if a nice afterthought. Never again will I use this florist. If there were prizes for rudeness, this person would win hands down.

When I worked for a Watertown non-profit that had an aging membership, I would always call Cass and they would do a great job. When my dad and then later my mom passed, they were wonderful and guided me through gently(no pressure tactics). They even helped when my little one started to cry and said she wanted to give grandma flowers from her too. They helped her pick out a little hand bouquet and it really made my daughter adjust to losing her grandma(and being part of the process). I don’t know how I feel about just walking off the street and getting flowers(sometimes I really miss Kabloom! for this reason) because they just have so many beautiful choices — I guess I need to try this one day. Keep you posted!

this is a florist, an artist and a therapist all in one.!! Beautiful beautiful beautiful flowers for my daughters wedding. We ordered the flowers with only 2 weeks to go before the ceremonies and with the helpful advice and guidance and mind reading and nerve calming that Ilorna, the floral designer imparted to us we had the most gorgeous arrangements and bouquets for the special day. Just amazing. Cass has been in business for several generations and the reputation has not changed. This is the place for any occassion, and prices are very affordable. Now I want to go to their floral design school and learn how to do it too.

I live in New York City but often make the trip to Watertown to see my family. I’ve bought flowers from here a couple of times and they do a wonderful job. It has been around for as long as I can remember and its a fun shop to walk into. They have classes for those who are interested in flower design.

Think Cass is the best florist around. Before everyone ran out of money my office used to get weekly deliveries for our lobby from Cass. We got beautiful arrangements in an amazing number of different styles/looks and they lasted. I miss seeing these as I come into the office each morning. I have ordered flowers for birthdays, get well and the birth of a baby and have gotten raves from the recipients. They are super helpful when you call and always seem to translate my clueless«I want to send something nice» into the perfect gift for the person and occasion. They never send those ball like arrangements you see from FTD but really natural and pretty arrangements in nice vases and containers. When you go into Cass they do not have pre-made up bouquets like they do at the supermarket but you tell them what you want to spend and the occasion and they make you a custom bouquet(and I have spent as little as $ 10). They also have a school and offer a class for $ 35 where you learn how to make an arrangement and take it home. A couple of friends from work have taken these classes and they made arrangements that were awesome. Some day I am going to do this. For amazing arrangements of fresh flowers at reasonable prices that everyone will fall all over you for sending I have found that you can not beat Cass.

Ok, so I work down the street from this place and drive by it EVERY day so today I decided to go check it out with one of my colleagues during our lunch hour. I was looking for some basic fresh cut flowers for my bedroom since I think it is always nice to have fresh flowers in the house.(I was actually looking for gold chrysanthemums even though they are more of a fall flower, because I just love them). The man that worked there was extremely nice and helpfull and answered all the questions I had for him. He even explained some basic arrangement tips [like odd numbers are(usually) better than even when you are working with a small amount… things I already knew but still nice to see someone take such an honest interest in their job]. I ended up buying some pale green Fuji chrysanthemums(they had no gold ones) and the freshness was unbelievable. The sales associate told me they came in fresh today and while I would usually think that is just some salesman BS, the flowers spoke for themselves. The dahlias were especially beautiful here as well(maybe I will get those next time). They also have a flower arrangement school on site with full certification classes and also one-time workshops. I thought that was pretty cool, even though they don’t have any workshops for ikebana which is what I would be most interested in. The prices were decent, ranging from about $ 1.50-$ 4.50 a stem depending on the flower(my Fuji mums were $ 2 a stem) and I always like to support local businesses. The quality was better than what is usually found at grocery store florists and the price was not THAT much different. Also, the personal service was a great touch. The only drawback(hence 4 stars) is that the selection of fresh cuts was not overly large. They are a member of FTD so I’m sure they have a vast assortment of arrangements but only a small(ish) section of individuals. Of course with that kind of quality I suppose one can’t expect too much. Quality IS more important than quanity.
