Crossroads Diner is a little roadside diner serving breakfast and lunch, located at the junction of US11 and NY37, just north of Watertown. The atmosphere inside is old school and homey. The dining area is cozy which has counter seating(stools), tables and booths. In the adjacent room where the bathrooms are located, there is a display case with classic Buffalo Bills mementos. The breakfast menu(served all day) offerings include eggs, omlettes, breakfast burgers, pancakes, French toast, hash, L.A. Cinnamon Bread, cereals, and breakfast sides. The lunch menu offerings include cold and hot sandwiches, clubs, burgers, salads, soups, chili, fish frys, fries, sweet potato fries and sides. The prices here seem reasonable, most items under $ 10. I stopped in here for lunch very recently. I sat myself at an open booth(felt very worn) and the waitress promptly gave me a menu. I started out with a cup of broccoli cheddar soup, which was very thick & lumpy and very rich. For lunch, I ordered a Turkey Sandwich with Chips & Pickle, which was very basic and had thin sliced deli turkey, tomato, lettuce, & mayo between untoasted soft white bread slices. Overall, the food tasted just fine, which was very basic, nothing fancy or wow. The service here was very prompt.
