The front office staff is very rude! Its like they want to get you in and out as fast as they can, and they def. want their money. They have no warmth at all. Every other dentist Ive been to has never charged us for faxing or emailing over dental records. They will only do it for a $ 25 fee. My new dentist in Texas was appauled that this was their protocol. Dr. S is always rushed, and has no bedside manner with his patients. He looked in my mouth for about 2 minutes MAX, and that was it. I would not take children there either, go to a pediatric dentist! They do not administer laughing gas, and when they have a filling, they get no sedation or numbing. Well, that was the experience with my son.

Well, my husband and I had a similiar experience at this dentist as the previous reviewer. My husband had PREPAID for a full set of dentures and one morning we were running 10 minutes late. When we got to the front desk, the woman at the desk was so rude and berated us like children for being a few minutes late. I just looked at her and said «shit happens». This wasn’t the first time she had been short and snide with my husband. I mean really, how many people prepay with cash for a full set of dentures and then be treated like absolute garbage to boot. My husband has never been back there since.

A majority of the population does not enjoy going to the dentist, I am one of them. So when I do go for my six month check-​up I want an office that greets you with happiness, professionalism and respect. I mean really, who doesn’t? This place was crap! The front desk didn’t smile once, never looked me in the eye when checking out and wasn’t willing to work with my insurance company regarding a billing issue (which I got pre-​approved for!). The dental assistant that took my x-​rays was just as drab! The hygienist was nice and greeted me with a smile. She seemed to be educated, well-​versed and listened to my complaints. The doctor however, was extremely abrupt. Didn’t listen to a thing I said, insisted I needed two crowns to replace existing ones and had really bad breath!!! We move around a lot so I’ve become an expert on dentist and their office procedures. This one I would avoid!!! My children didn’t even think they were good.

I’ve just moved to Watertown, NY from California and needless to say I’ve been apprehensive about finding doctors. Dr. Schonfield’s office is brilliant! Their office is super clean, updated, and friendly. Nickie and Ashley are wonderful and helpful. Dr. Schonfield’s sense of humor keeps things light. You will have the best dental experience here!
