The people were friendly, but the organization was a little lacking. We were there for a bridal party getting our hair and make-up done. My sister(the bride) booked the appointments months ago and confirmed them two months before the wedding when she went in for her trial run with her hair and make up. In addition the week leading up to it she confirmed again that we had 3 different stylists would each do an up do at 9AM and another one at 10AM(6 total updos) and them make up for 5 people starting once the hair appointments were completed. When we arrived that morning they said that our appointments were one after another starting at 9AM with the last hair appointment starting at 12:30(she had also told them that we needed to LEAVE the salon at noon since the wedding was at 2:30 and about 45 minutes away and we would also need to grab food and get dressed for the big day and didn’t want to be rushed). They were able to switch some of the hair appointments and called in an extra stylist who came in JUST to do one updo, Everyone finished up the hair by 11:30, however the ONE person who could do make-up here was also doing the bride’s updo and was thus not able to start until 11:30. She finished the bride’s make-up by noon(two other bridesmaids realized that our make-up was NOT going to be able to be done so we did it ourselves) and two other bridesmaids actually stayed an additional 30 minutes to get their make-up done quickly. Needless to say, the make-up was rushed, but it didn’t look terrible. Overall, the hair was good, and the make-up acceptable, but the service wasn’t what should have been expected after multiple confirmation phone calls and emails. In addition, this stress on the bride is something that should have been avoided on the DAYOF the wedding and this salon didn’t meet my expectations.

Decent pedicures and haircuts, not so good on wait times. The last two times I’ve been there, I’ve waited thirty minutes past my scheduled appointment times, as did someone else I was with who was getting something else done. I don’t care what the reasoning is nor should I have to ask — I don’t mind waiting, however, I should be reassured of who my stylist/whatever is and how far behind they are running late. The person I was with canceled her appointment right then and there at the front desk because she had already waited at least thirty minutes past her appointment time — no questions were asked by the girl at the desk, nor did she offer a reason why the stylist was running late. Don’t really care for the lackadaisical attitude of the front desk people.

First time here. The wife and I scheduled a couples massage. Arrived a few minutes early and were pleasantly greeted. We filled out the usual paperwork and were then brought into the massage room. We were given a bottle of champagne and two glasses. Nice touch! The massage therapists were polite and professional. There were only a few minor complaints, mainly about the ambience. The massage room is right off the salon. The door does a good job with sound attenuation but you can still here people laughing or the sound of hair dryers. Also, there is an analog clock in the room which«ticks» off every second. The background music helped to drown it out but it was definitely still noticeable. I was about to get up and take out the batteries. Lastly, the lights were not dim enough to set that relaxing atmosphere. Overall, it was a great massage and definitely worth the trip.
