Extremely fast delivery on a Saturday night. Food was great for the price with really large portions. Mongolian beef entrée is a must. Yum

It’s not bad, but it’s the greasiest Chinese food I’ve ever had… and that’s saying a lot.

My favorite Chinese takeout. Their chicken fingers aren’t undercooked with runny batter like a lot of places. My boyfriend loves the wonton soup. They’re open late which is super convenient. The only downside which others have mentioned is the language barrier. I have struggled wondering if my order would be right, and on one occasion my boyfriend struggled for a very long while to confirm his address.

Cheap and bad Chinese food. Place needs some cleaning as well! The open kitchen they so proudly advertise is a joke. Avoid!!!

This is the best Chineese restaurant I have ever tried. They have most delicious food and prices are great. You call to pick up and the food is ready always within 15 minutes. I go there all the time and never been disappointed.

don’t get delivery from there. the language barrier is real bad. it took me 10 mins for them to get my cc number right. and then I called back 45 later wondering where they were and she said my address didn’t exist. first and last time I ever order from this place.

I order from here all the time! The prices are really not that bad. The rice isn’t either. I have yet to find a delivery for Chinese food In Watertown that is as fast or accurate then they are! I wouldn’t really eat there because it’s small. As for the food portions sizes are great. Flavor is great. Fish sauce is really strong! Overall better than average!

I don’t know about everyone else but I love their crab ragoons. They make the best I ever tasted. The fried rice does leave something to be desired, however I prefer white rice anyway. They give very large portion sizes and their food tastes fresh and crispy, not old and soggy like some places. Don’t expect a dine in experience, it’s best if you get delivery or take out and enjoy it at home.

I was hungry for Chinese food, but it was after midnight. So I tried this restaurant. I got a General Gau’s chicken combo, and the food was good. Portions are extremely large, the combo meal will last for three meals, plan on sharing any combo meal with a friend — they included two sides. The food: The chicken tasted like chicken. so the entrée passed the taste test. The only drawback was the oil the spring roll was done in was perhaps not as hot as it should have been — it didn’t have that outer crispness all around that I expected. The container could use an upgrade, the sauce /oil had leaked out of the overflowing styrofoam container, so a different packaging arrangement is needed. The service: I received the warmest greeting of any of the Watertown Chinese restaurants, and it was after 12:30 at night. Friendly staff put me in a good mood. They have combo meals for under $ 10…and they are open past midnight many nights of the week. So to summarize — good basic Chinese food, points added for being open late, and points taken away for the spring roll.

I’m on a tight budget, so I’m a fan. Lots of food for under $ 10, which is plenty fine for me. A lot of people seem to have complained about the rice but it’s probably gotten better since they reviewed it three years ago. It’s not phenomenal, there’s better, but it’s alright. The thing that set this place apart from other places in my mind were the spicy chicken wings. Incredible. My favorite thing about this place is that when you call they actually have someone answer who can speak English and get your order right. That really set this place apart from some of the other places in the area and made my life a lot easier. They prepare the food real quick too, and so that’s a plus as well. This is NOT a place to dine-in at. They have no drinks apart from the soda machine which is $ 1 for a can. That’s a major rip-off in my opinion, but overall the food is pretty good, their sauces are a cut above the rest, and their portions are nice.

Hit or miss in some regards. If you like plain American Chinese cuisine, nothing too adventurous, this will suffice. The lobster sauce is better than most take-out joints, and the vegetable fried rice is a good accompaniment. Decent egg rolls, and the chicken wings are quite good. The person who takes the take-out orders over the phone isn’t particularly friendly, but the delivery people always arrive with a smile. This is my fallback for takeout in Watertown, but there are certainly much better Chinese restaurants within driving distance for dining in.

Tiki Inn is GREAT! I love this place… the food is cooked fresh right in front of you. I have been here many, many times and have never been dissapointed. I have no clue what those other people are talking about with the rice — I love it! I have personally recommended this place to a few people, and they have all thanked me.

The number 1 complaint here is about the rice and I guess people have a point. It could be better. I don’t think the prices are high though. That I can’t agree with. As I stated before you can get things cooked to your taste so do that! They may not take great care with their rice but these guys do an excellent job with their vegitables. Honestly if you order to the strengths of this place you will not be dissapointed.

This is the best«good-bad» Chinese restaurant around! It’s not dim sum authentic but if you want some great takeout this is the place! I wish I could find a takeout place this good near me now. I miss you Tiki In #9 combo with sweet and sour chicken and the best crab rangoons around!

This place sucks. Way overpriced. Yes, the portion sizes are HUGE. But, the food is gross, so that’s not exactly a plus. Also, the rice is beyond offensive.

So I am not alone in my disgust for the RICE at Tiki In!!! The food is okay and pretty plentiful, but the huge amount of rice they give you is insane. This would be a bonus if the rice was good, but it is gross. It’s pretty much DARK brown with 5 pieces of onion and two cubes of pork in it. So say you don’t go with a combo plate to avoid the rice and all you really want are a couple of eggrolls to go with a stir-fry you are making for dinner. Well be prepared to fork over about $ 6 for two eggrolls! I think not and have not been here since that happened.

I would give this place a 2.5. PROS: They had HUGE portions! this has served as 3 meals so far, and I still have enough for leftovers again tomorrow! we ordered one combo and they def dont skip on the appetizers(spare ribs and chicken) Could be Pro or Con is that their dishes dont taste like your typical Chinese food(but takeout Chinese isnt real Chinese anyways). We ordered the beef & broccoli, and the kung pao chicken and neither tasted right. They also put all the combo sides into the same container, saving on garbage waste, but yet messing up the flavors. CONS: I agree with the OP, the rice is a lil different. I found that reheating left overs in an frying pan makes it taste better than microwaving though.

What can I say about Tiki. The food sucks… well actually the food is pretty good it is the RICE that is horrible. I’m a fan of the combination plates and every time I can only eat half the rice before I’m ready to throw it away. Throw it away you say? Why not save it and have it tomorrow. Well yes cold chinese food the next day is great but you can’t save the rice at this place, its worse the next day then it was fresh. This being said I still get this stuff probably twice a month. I do live around the corner from it so its in walking distance and the only option from chinese food around. Eating drunk is a big help and getting a combination plate that has a sauce with it(example is I get the beef and mushrooms) and I use that to mix with the rice… makes it edible to eat. I will also give credit to the won ton soup. that was fantastic.

Hungry? Want unhealthy Chcken Fingers/Pork Fried Rice/Chicken Chow Mein combo? Then go to Tiki In. I wouldn’t say they are cheap, but you get a lot of food for what you just paid. It is also one of few places you can get food late. They are open till 1 am most night(except Sunday they close at midnight I think) They deliver, too.

I remember when I first moved to Watertown, calling my family in FL and telling them what good Chinese food there was here, and thinking it was strange to find such good Chinese food in Watertown. Flash forward 2 years… craving good Chinese food… completely sick of being disappointed with gelatinous globs of salt being delivered to me instead of yummy delights. I am about to settle for one of the tasteless, super-speedy Chinese pit-srops, when suddenly I remember that phone conversation 2 years ago. But where could it be that I was so happy with the food. Everywhere we have ordered from lately has been such a let down… wait…its coming to me… somewhere on Mt Auburn… I remember having a hard time parking… a big open kitchen with a million chefs… that’s right!!! The Tiki Inn! Such a strange name for such a delicious Chinese Fast Food place. With a menu as long as a text book, you are bound to find a combo that will please you! And if you have been in as desperate search for a good Hot & Sour soup as I have… the search ends here! Be warned though, it is not vegetarian, but everything is made fresh, and they are always willing to accommodate if they can! I give it a very enthusiastic 2 thumbs up!
