How do I say this politely? I hate you. I understand that when someone comes to the drive-thru and you’re in the store with another customer that you can’t drop what you are doing and run to the window. However, I think waiting 10 minutes at the drive-thru to even be acknowledged is excessive. I think 15 minutes to complete a drive-thru pick up is ridiculous. Furthermore, I do not appreciate you taking it upon yourselves to attempt to change my «DAW» prescription to a generic; there is a reason my physician prescribed the brand name and that is due to inconsistencies among the multiple generic versions of my medication that could really screw things up for me. I also think that it is really rude for a pharmacy tech to loudly announce to a woman picking up antibiotics that they will make her birth control pills«less effective» so she needs to use condoms too until she finishes the antibiotic. Presumptuous much? Said woman didn’t request«counseling» from the pharmacist. Unsolicited«counseling» is SOANNOYING. If I have a question about my medication I’m going to ask someone who went to medical school or NP school, not someone who counts pills and processes insurance information and certainly NOT a pharmacy tech. The non-pharmacy part of the store is «ok». It has the usual stuff and is reasonably clean. The card selection is a little disappointing. The cashiers frequently smell of cigarettes(yes, I can smell them over the counter). The last time I was in there looking for cheap shampoo to alternate with my aveda(a gals gotta alternate to avoid residue buildup on her locks), I discovered that they have a lot of products with labels in Spanish(which is great if you’re looking to hone your Spanish skills while shampooing, but bad if you don’t understand Spanish and are unsure if the product will give you volume of sleekness). I’ve switched to a different Rite Aid locations.
