Texenza Coffee

I’m pretty sure I just had the best Iced Coffee of my life today, at the little Texenza within the Frost Tower. I go in at least once a week, and today was Free Shot Friday* (why don’t they have these at bars?) and they lovingly put a free shot of espresso into my large iced coffee with Sugar Free Vanilla with room. Mmmm. Added some half and half and the fixin’s station, and perfection was in my cup.
The first time I got an iced coffee from this location, I didn’t know what I wanted so I trusted them to lead me in the right direction. I didn’t want any ice in my drink, so they shook my iced coffee, mixed it with some milk and strained it into my cup for me. How’s that for a morning cocktail?
I love these guys. They are happy, but not the kind of happy that makes you want to slap someone when you’re half awake on a Monday morning. They always make me smile, and they always give me exactly what I need in the morning to make it through.
