Global Taco

This review is for the Cheesy Rider, which is what Global Taco is during the winter months.
Let’s say it’s pretty much amazing, like everyone else says, they’re not lying.
I stopped here in Corning, NY when it was visiting the Iron Flamingo and boy, was I happy to have had lunch here. I ordered the American Hustle and OH-​EMM-​GEE. One bite and the cheese strung off into cheesy goodness. It reminded me of how much I wanted a grilled cheese after watching the food-​truck movie CHEF. And it hit the spot. You know it’s good when it strings like that, cooked perfectly and so much flavor.
I had sampled the mac and cheese soup, loving it. You know what else I love? The fact that she puts it’s vegetarian so I don’t even have to ask or wonder! Woo woo! When I mentioned this to her she said she’s had enough vegan, vegetarian, gluten free peeps that it’s better to tell people upfront. WINNING. My friends ordered the Breakfast Club, that egg on there — ahhhh. I would have to order it without bacon but hey, it’s okay because I heard it was amazing.
Located all over and I heard you can have her cater a party. A food truck at a party? How awesome. I definitely recommend checking this truck out whether it’s Cheesy Rider or Global Taco. I can’t wait for the summer months so I can have myself a taco.

Sara is amazing! We were visiting Watkins Glen and the Montour Fall festival this weekend and happened on Global Tacos. This food is just amazing. For the customer that is timid there is some standard fare, but for those willing to branch out there were wonderful combinations; chicken, with butternut squash, and kale. And for those customers who are vegan any taco can be accommodated to your taste too. Great service, great food, a darn good prices! WOW

Worth keeping an eye out for if you are in the Watkins Glen/​Hector areas. If you are doing a wine tour in Seneca look to see where they are, stop in and grab a taco for only $ 2.50. They have at least a dozen varieties of tacos– I have only tried a couple but I highly recommend the jerk taco. Giving it a four for now but looking forward to finding the truck again and hopefully bumping it to a five!
