Yes it is in the middle of bum !#$@# nowhere and yes there are XIV and X4 taggings on the way up. yes the one way roads are a pain… yes it is like going up to Waimea Canyon in Hawaii BUT
1. The view going up is stellar
2. Camping grounds galore and the parking to match
3. Bathrooms are clean and well stocked including shower for those who can’t rough it rough it for a few days
4. swimming pool area (check for hours/​when lifeguard is on duty)
5. If you love to mountain bike this is a great place!
6. lots of areas for open football
7. Wedding? YES! They do accommodate and there are sites big enough to house 200+ people (and they can get a campground to spend over night)
8. Sunset. priceless
I went here for a wedding of all things and this place was way cool. Highly recommend for mountain bikers… there are plenty of places for you to get your fix
