This salon is fantastic! I am always satisfied with the work that all the girls do! Maty, the owner is the best. She listens to what you want to get done and does the best she can to satisfy her customers. It is a very clean salon and worth the prices.

Second, my story/​experience…
I had been super nervous to go to any salon for the past year or so. And you could see that in my hair, I was in DIRE need of some change to my mane. Often you could find me obsessively pouring over reviews and photos of salons in every neighboring city. Of course I ocassionally would come across talent that I thought I may be able to trust, but nothing ever really felt RIGHT. or not right enough for me to take the plunge into the hot seat and let someone put their fingers to my hair! For many ladies (including yours truly) finding a trusty beautician is a rather important and sometimes daunting ordeal! This quest took me over a year but boy am I satisfied with where it led me! ANYWAY…
One day while out and about running errands in Santa Cruz, I meet a lovely young woman with beautiful highlighted hair. Immediately I inquire as to where and by whom this absolute masterpiece was created! She directs me here, to this small gem of a salon tucked away in the corner of a modest shopping center in coastal Watsonville, CA. Something about her hair and this recommendation was just feeling quite right. From the moment I sat down I was treated with kindness, not obsequious nor dull, just human, just RIGHT. The décor was perfect, welcoming without feeling too homely, chic without feeling over the top. But okay, okay… let me get to the point… my HAIR. Goodness gracious, does Maty know how to deliver!!! She told me she would try her best to get my hair as close to the picture I had shown her, and the result was spot on. And let me state that getting to the lightness of the picture I showed, from the damage and darkness of my hair that walked through the door, wasn’t going to be easy. But she didn’t break a sweat, piece of frickin’ cake… lol. It is beautiful! The best my hair has ever looked, and I’ve had my fair share of great hair days ;) I have found a place I can call hair home, an ARTIST I can trust who knows her stuff, and it didn’t even break the bank.
What more can I say? I am overjoyed.
P. S. they sell super cute earrings for just $ 3! I snagged a couple on the way out :)…

Andrea at Klassy Styles is my hair stylist and she is the BEST! She has been doing my hair for years now and I do not trust my hair to just anyone. Every time I see her my hair color comes out amazing. At times when I may want to try something completely different on my hair but have no idea on what to suggest, Andrea will recommend a color combo and I just go with it, because I know she knows her STUFF! I am always happy with the results Andrea creates. She is professional & knowledgeable and I won’t allow anyone else to do my hair. I am beyond happy that she is my stylist. I highly recommend her if anyone is looking for someone to work MAGIC on their hair.

I have my hair done here and I always leave with my hair needs met Andrea and Maty do a great job. I’ve never been disappointed. And my hair always looks and feels healthy and shiny

The prices are very cheap, which is a good thing. However I only gave it 3 stars because I dont feel they are very professional. I noticed when I was there, the stylists gossip a lot. I noticed after every client left, the styists would gossip about the client. So I figured, they woud gossip about me as well when I left. I noticed the product they put in your hair dye isn’t high quality, I believe it is from Sallys beauty supply which isnt horrible, but I guess that is why the prices are so low. You pay for what you get. Another lost point for me, was when they were ready to wash my hair out from the dye, the stylist washed the bowl where the dye was and the brush in the same sink while my head was in there. I just thought that was extremely unprofessional. She could of waited to do that after she washed my hair out, or done it in another sink. If you want an affordable and quick dye, I would go there but if your looking for high end, definitly not the salon to go too.
