There just aren’t enough stars to give for Rudy and his crew. I’d give him a hundred out of a hundred every time.
Our home had dry rot in the façade facing the street and we hired Rudy to repair the siding. That was really the only and the best decision we had to make. The job was done at a reasonable cost, and with all the best materials and craftsmanship that any old world artisan would have put into the project. The attention to detail, the cleanliness of the final cleanup… well, I can’t say enough good things.
But that wasn’t all. Just after the project was completed, my wife broke her leg falling down some steps in our house. Rudy’s crew built a temporary ramp at the front of the house so we could get her in and out in her wheelchair for the next six weeks while she was laid up. Afterward, they took the ramp back down and left everything looking as good as new. The most startling part: Rudy never charged us a dime for the ramp. It was strictly done from the goodness of his heart.
Now, obviously it is not every customer that gets a free handicap ramp but even without considering the extra mile that Rudy put into our project, I would never even consider going anywhere else for any construction project, big or small.
I’d you want an honest, hardworking, craftsman with the best possible work ethic. Look no further. The Medina Project is simply the best.

Although I have not personally used Rudy and the Medina Project, I have talked to many people who have used his services as well many subcontractors he includes in his projects. They all say he is the best person to work for, clean, organized, on time and excellent in his trade. I plan on using him for a re odor I am planning.

If there were six stars (make that ten!) — I’d give them to Rudy Medina and his crew. We’ve all heard the crazy contractor horror stories — mine is the complete opposite– from start to finish Rudy was honest, thorough, and went way beyond the call of duty! My task wasn’t simple –When I bought my home here in Santa Cruz, which due to escrow closing dates of my house I was selling and this house I was buying, I had 15 days to get a TON of stuff done — all new hardwood floors, including big staircase, entire interior repainted, all new counter tops in baths and kitchen, all new mirrors, a deck that needed re-​routing and re-​sealing — the list was huge… Rudy and his people literally worked round the clock, including weekends, to help me meet my crazy time frames… AND sent me emails almost every night with photos so I could see the progress from the other end (I moved from Southern CA). If you want a truly worry free, great experience on your next home project — regardless of size and complexity, this is your guy!

Could not say enough good things about Rudy and his team. Rudy oversaw a fairly major remodel of ours 4 years ago and it was incredibly smooth, honest, professional, well-​done. George the foreman was being called Uncle George by our kids before all was said and done. Everyone was pleasant to work with, the skills were top-​notch, Rudy had great ideas and tweaks that made everything just perfect. George always went above and beyond too (such as building garage shelves for my husband’s birthday just because he had the extra wood and a few minutes). You would not go wrong to hire Rudy for your construction project.
