I don’t know about the others Bad Reviews on here my experience is they are really helpful
its very hard to get pool service out here not many choices at all some wont even bother
MBPS where able to set me up with pools service and i have had zero problems with
them so far

I was a bit worried because of some bad reviews, but a friend who’s used them for years highly recommended them and they have been great to me. They replaced my pump and gave me free advice on how to save a ton of money getting an old dilapidated pool back up and running. Great guys who are willing to work with you and help you save money

Clint was out to assess our pump system for the pool. Very efficient and professional. Been with the company 18 years.

We bought a house with a pool last year. My husband Mr «I got this» decided he could take care of a pool. Well, fast forward a couple months and our pool has «attack of the swamp monster» happening and hubby says he’s too busy to deal with it (?!). The first two places I called never even showed up. Then I called Monterey Bay and the next day Steve came out and a week later the pool was clear and blue. They’ve been taking care of the pool since and it looks great. They also fixed a leak in our pump and our crawly sweeper thing. Pablo is our regular guy and he’s awesome — shows up every week like clock work. I have to agree with the previous reviewer — the 2 bad reviews don’t match my experience. I also don’t get why Unilocal us hiding all the good reviews in this one

I am a little surprised by the bad reviews as i have had MBPS do the opening of my pool two (2) years in a row now (vacuum heavy debris, etc.). Last year they performed some basic repairs as well.
My experience has been very positive — Dan is very communicative. They just finished up this years opening and the pool looks fantastic. I was traveling during the work and Dan left me messages letting me know how things were going (it took 2 visits to complete).
In any event, I would recommend them — I have used probably 4 or 5 service providers over the years and have had very good luck with this company. I maintain the pool myself but use MBPS for repairs etc. and would rate them an A.

These guys are terrible just look at the other reviews. My property management co uses them… clueslessly.
They super chlorinated our pool and didn’t tell us… so we swam in it… our dogs were in it… and we found out after the fact and were pissed. They show up most of the time, but don’t even noticed things. I have learned more about pools and maintenance sense using them. If you are looking for a pool service, you better keep looking.
I would bet that the only positive review is from them trying to save their rep… I have a better idea… provide a decent service!

Do not give this company any business. They serviced my pool, I had algae growing, the serviceman was not competent. Why the hell am I paying these idiots if they can’t do basic pool maintenance. In retrospect I should have known better, they run in, and run out, have to make their quota of XX number of pools.
Checked contractors license (expired). My servicemen complained often to me about being hired as «Independent Contractor». I would love to see their monthly workmen’s comp filing to see how many employees are «actually» on payroll and how many are «independent»
I took sample pool water to Leslie’s Pool for chemistry, what a pandora’s box I opened up.

1 Business with 4 address’s and many different names. (Should make you suspicious)
My current company I have had now for 1.5 years, very happy.
It’s not rocket science.

Called me to demand immediate payment when I’d never received an invoice. Very rude and unprofessional, will not be using again.
