Went to get a gel manicure and a pedi, the pedicure was really fast and they didn’t let me pick a color for either my hands or pedicure. When I told them the color I wanted they brought me the wrong one and continued to do my nails. My gel chipped that same day. Will never go back to this place again.

My wife had an appointment very early yesterday, the girl took about 15 minutes to do her nails. Sloppy, fast, and they got ruined by the end of the day. She went back today and they charged her another $ 15 to re-do them. They work to fast and make a sloppy job! Don’t recommend this place at all, so disappointed. They push you to get more things done, and they increased their prices without telling you or having it on their price board. Not worth it! My wife was not happy at all

Worst nail salon I have ever been to. It cost $ 53 to get the basic mani/pedi combo and an underarm wax. I wanted clear polish on my nails and French on my toes. Pretty basic, right? My fingernail polish isn’t even smooth! My toes turned out good, though. Except when the pedicurist was putting on my shoes, she smudged the corner of my big toe. I asked her to fix it, so she just put more white in the empty space. The polish didn’t line up with the rest of the white, and she didn’t put another clear coat over it. Then came the wax. The woman didn’t get very much hair with the wax, so she spent several minutes plucking each underarm with tweezers. It was painful, especially since she kept pinching my skin with the tweezer tip. I look when I get home, and my underarms are puffy and still have hair. Not happy at all.

Worst! They had us wait 1hr and said it was 15 min wait. bullshit .It was my cousins 1st time getting her nails done for her sweet 15.. Hey nails were pointing all different directions the shape was horrible. .glue stuff was underneath nail.. I took her back and i complained she would not give me a refund.. They had charged her 28 for piece of shit job and were done in 15 min. And fell off the next day. . Will never go back to that place. .

Nothing«Pro» about this place. Overall grungy. Had a manicure. No polish. Just soak, trim, and buff was all I needed but my six year old niece could do better. Towel on table-dirty. Tools were taken from and returned to drawer(not sanitized). That drawer was filthy inside. My hands soaked in room temp water, a pea size amount of lotion was used for both hands.(Second hand was a dry rub really). Buffer had to be found in back and used up and down on nails(no shine). Total time-10 min. Cost-$ 15. Waste of money and time.

Really fast service. Although there wasn’t as much foreign language gossip as other places, I noticed they still made a few comments here and there. Got pedicure and gelish manicure. Good prices, but not the best pedicure or manicure I’ve got. Gel nails were a bit bubbly and uneven. Water was too cold for both pedicure and manicure.

I thought I’d written a review a few years ago in 2009, but it’s not on here and I recently visited in Nov 2011 again. This is the closest/easiest nail salon to get to from Pajaro Dunes, and I really like it. I only get to go there when I’m on vacation at the Dunes. In 2009, they we so accommodating and opened their salon early just to accommodate a group of over 10 of us(women and men), manis, pedi’s, fills, tips, we went in and pretty much got everything on the menu on my wedding day(at the recommendation of our wedding coordinator). I highly recommend this place for big parties, they have a lot of pedicure chairs and staff to get everyone in and out. We were ALL happy with our service, even more so, because they feature a lot of goodies in their various Mani-pedi packages, and the prices were reasonable for the work they did(we were all looking’ haggard when we walked in). In Nov. 2011, I went again, and I was surprised at the Unilocal reviews. I went and once again, they did a great job on my nails and feet, and 2 of my friends nails and feet. This time I got French manicure Shellac too, and it lasted 3 weeks(I’m hard on my hands too). Same service, same people, and the day we went the place was packed! So that says a lot about people wanting to go there. The only neg. comment is that there are a couple staff who can be a bit pushy about getting additional treatments, but I think it’s because they know about what’s good for your nails. I hadn’t planned to get the Shellac, but I’m glad I tried it.

This is usually my go to nail place. Nate and T are great and ways do a great job! Unfortunately they no longer own the place and I went today not knowing that! I went in with a long natural nail I was looking for a gel manicure with a simple reshaping. What I got was my nails cut all the way down to my skin! The lady asked how short and I said not short at all just a little clean up she showed how much she would cut and I approved, well she cut uneven so she had to file down so short to even and continued do do so! Then I was shifted around and someone else took over and he took my other nails even shorter. He was basically filing my skin I made them stop completely and they still had the audacity to charge me. Never again. I only gave it a star because I didn’t know how to give it less!
