If you want bad costumer service. Come here. The worst experience I’ve ever had buying ANYTHING. The older woman, who I believe is the owner, has no respect for her customers. Simply rude.

I’ve shopped there many times before for art projects and gifts to help support local businesses instead of going to big store retailers outside of town. This time my experience was not as nice. They close at 6:00 pm which is early for people who work for a living! I walked in a few minutes before looking to spend money on a project I want to start. The younger worker was very nice and helpful, but then another worker made a comment about how they were already closed. I walked out! Never going back, id rather drive half an hour to get service and buy stuff than to get kicked out of a store where I’m trying to spend money.

Wow! What an artists dream store! Lovely displays of local artistic designs and a good selection of supplies for the size of the store. They also have framing for individual pictures available, though I don’t know the prices on that service. I loved the clerk who helped me. She knew their stock and their products and recommended the perfect non toxic paint for me! The location is good and there is plenty of parking! Check it out!

Really cute store. Had a huge variety of frames samples to pick from. Also had very well-priced art on the walls for sale and cute displays. Prices seem to be better than in Santa Cruz, too, for paint/artist supplies, Additionally, they donated framing services to Pajaro Valley Arts Council for an exhibit, and they also donated time and supplies last year. Thanks Wild Rose!

This is a nice little art store that I’ve been to twice. My first visit was great, the lady working there was friendly and helpful. However, during this second visit a different lady was rude. I was looking around the store and she made a comment saying that I was taking«my sweet time», as if she wanted me to leave. I’ll add that there was still about an hour left until closing time. I would’ve bought more items but I didn’t feel wanted there so I bought what I had and left. I don’t think I’ll be going back again.

I brought a much cherished family treasure to Wild Rose, a delicate watercolor and ink on silk, about 80 years old, and suffering from light foxing. I brought it to be re-framed with acid free paper to stop the foxing from advancing. To say I was nervous about leaving a one of a kind treasure to be conserved anywhere but at a museum is an understatement. I practically had nightmares. When I brought the painting home and removed the plastic wrap, I burst into tears — no kidding. The tiny details I had thought lost were back, the entire piece brighter and more amazing than I remembered — simply conserving the piece without correcting the foxing made an enormous difference. Wild Rose is the best — and affordable too!

This is a very nice framing and art store. The staff are friendly and helpful. I’ve spent scads on frames here and am always happy. They’ve shown so much enthusiasm for the work i bring in that it’s always a pleasure to visit.

Wild Rose is the kind of shop Watsonville should always have. It is locally owned and operated, and is a great option for all your art supplies as opposed to those larger art stores. The staff here is really helpful and does an awesome job if you need any framing. They have a great selection of art supplies and some really cool gifts. I tend to get gifts for my artist sister here and they are always unique.

Wild Rose exemplifies why I believe in mom ‘n pop operations. 1. Great Customer Service: staff were helpful both over the phone and in fielding questions when I arrived. I had a rather unique project I needed completed and they worked with me, providing full individualized attention to accomplish everything I required in an financially feasible fashion.(yay alliteration!) 2. Price: Granted this was a project for work, but the work involved included custom mounting and cutting of three large 3′ x 4′ maps of the City to a foam core back. The price to do all of this was under $ 100, and the workmanship was fabulous. Corporate/government discount. Woo. 3. Speed: They got the job done in 4 business days. Excellent. Needless to say, this is a great place to go to find art supplies, get things framed, or bounce ideas off some very talented folks for personalized ideas to accomplish your specific goals. Highly recommended.

Wild Rose has been around for at least 30 years — as long as I can remember. They carry a full range of artist’s supplies, as well as framed art, prints — as well as some really nice unusual gifts. Framing services are top notch. I just took three tiles in to be framed and they did an excellent job.
