Whippletree Farm Antiques

Absolutely beautiful, original antique furniture. The type of antique stores that sell this stuff is very few & far between. And the place is huge. Hundreds of pieces of furniture. There were a couple of huge music boxes that were really interesting. The employee cranked up one of them so we could hear the music; imagine one of those old music boxes you used to have as a kid with the metal that turns that has nicks on it on steroids. Some of the cabinets & dressers were super huge. I imagine they used to sit in mansions. One of the dressers I looked at was $ 14,000, but not everything there is super expensive. There were several tables that were under $ 200. Truly a great place to furnish your home if you love antique furniture.

Pretty cool place. There’s at least two floors of stuff, and those floors are expansive. There’s a ton of cool antiques that really vary in style and use. Everything from large dressers to art to drawer handles. The staff was friendly from what we encountered. The only knock on this place is I think many could be priced-​out of buying here. There are some serious price tags here, but perhaps they are completely reasonable in the antique world. It’s definitely not a place where you’ll pick up a few small things because they’re such a steal. That being said, it’s really interesting to walk through and maybe pick up a must-​have item.

REALLY NICE ANTIQUES
This was the first time that I came into this antique store. I have to say that I am very impressed with the selection of items that are in here.
The main floor:
The main floor has many small items to choose from. They have nice old lamps, an old wood burning stove, bronze statues, a full suite of armor including the sword and even a small canon which I want. How cool would it be to have a canon in the foyer of your house so when someone comes buy to sell or solicit that you show them your canon. I think it would be pretty cool.
The second floor:
The second floor has a lot of furniture that includes a four post bed, armors, dressers, small tables, large tables, mirrors, paintings, old photos and fancy chairs. They have a couple of chairs that are really cool. The detail of the wood is incredible. It would be my king chair that no one would be allowed to sit in but me.
The outside:
Outside of the building on the south side they have several iron pieces to choose from. They have wrought iron gates, railings and detail pieces for the creative person to place on a wall.
The prices are pretty high on most of the items that I looked at but my guess is that you can bargain for a better deal. That will be my next quest when I return as I did have my eye on a couple of items. Maybe I will be known as King of the canon or maybe the crazy guy who sits on an old chair with his canon. We’ll see.

nice collection but a bit pricey

Two floors of wonderful things. Purchased a china cabinet, dining room light fixture, occasional table and huge brass framed mirror. From single pieces of furniture to complete room suites to framed art, statuary, sterling, marble pieces and glassware. Great store to find treasures.

Really cool stuff (old lanterns, signs, cameras) to decorate you home, pricy furniture for the bargain shopper, but if you are looking for very high quality go there.
