Iowa Moving 1

I hired Iowa Moving 1 LLC for my move in June to unload the Uhaul via
which was a very convenient feature.
They are an amazing company with very professional movers who do a great job to get items inside and keep them dry because the day of the move it happened to be down-​pouring and was not going to let up so the movers came anyway and got right to work. We laid towels down and they had an entire 17′ truck unloaded in 1 hour and after everything was inside they moved it to the correct areas and helped dry off furniture. Very professional and very nice. They came right on time and their rates are very reasonable ! I would recommend them to anyone looking for movers in the des Moines area!

Unlike Dana H., my experience with Iowa Moving 1 was amazing! For a variety of reasons I waited too long to hire people to load my U-​Haul truck. I called Iowa Moving 1 on Wednesday and was initially told maybe and that I would get a call back… in my mind, I thought… yeah right I won’t hear back. I’m really screwed… obviously my fault for waiting until the last minute. I was shocked when about 3 hours later I received a call from Eric letting me know that Iowa Moving 1 could in fact load my truck. I was so relieved and thankful.
I have moved a great deal so have a lot of experience with moving companies… good and bad. The two men were on time and were friendly. I had moved boxes to the garage and still had boxes and furniture in the apartment on the third floor! they surveyed what was in the garage and then the apartment. They discussed strategy for getting everything to fit in a 10 foot truck and proceeded to bring things down and organize it like a rubics cube. By the time they were done, the items in the truck looked like a piece of art and all with a sense of humor and lots of care.
I would highly recommend Iowa Moving 1 to friends and family who need to have a truck loaded with their precious possessions. Thanks again Eric for fitting me into your tight schedule.
