We used this company in August 2015. They had done a significant number of fences in our subdivision and truthfully they all look nice, and so does ours. However the installation and customer service are horrible. If we had done our research properly we never would have used them. As per city laws they dug the post holes and had to wait 24 hours for the inspection before they could set the posts. I noticed the corner hole next to our neighbor’s fence line was full of water, even though it had not rained overnight. I brought this to Ken’s attention but got brushed off and told it was just draining water. I felt this was odd but stupidly believed these guys had enough«years of experience» that they had not hit any pipes, which had been marked. There was a mark nearby. They installed the fence and left. We have had major water problems ever since. We looked at the home multiple times before purchasing, including after a significant amount of rainfall and there was never a drainage problem. The entire back half of our property is constantly saturated, enough so that the bottom 2′ of the fence is soaked. I called the city thinking we had a water leak and was informed that there is an old drain tile line in that area and it’s highly likely that they nicked a pipe during install, and unfortunately the city couldn’t help us as it was an INSTALLERPROBLEM. We called Ken regularly from September and he promised multiple times he would come look at it. He never showed. He also ignored every phone call we placed. It wasn’t until when my husband called from his work phone that Ken actually called back and was sorely disappointed when he learned who it was. He came to look at the problem and denied any wrong doing and didn’t even offer to look into the problem. For 3 and a half months this company blatantly ignored a problem from their customer and now won’t even investigate. We are going to be contacting the BBB as well and when we find the problem will be taking pictures and filing a class action suit. DONOTUSETHISCOMPANY. This is how they treat their customers, even military customers.

Have to agree. We needed replacement fence, I knew everything I wanted, type, design, metal posts, measurements, etc. from last time, easy sale. They took half hour or so taking my information, made appointment and never showed, called twice more, no return call. Very strange they don’t need business. Their father owned it years ago and was exact opposite, would have been mortified by any lack of manners or service.

These guys have been in business forever. I dealt directly with Joe, the owner. The materials they use are above-grade, not like the lightweight stuff that they sell at the local big box chain store. Growing up, my parents had a Masterbilt fence around our yard, and now too so does my daughter.

I called this company so many times to get an answer its ridiculous. I needed a small addition added onto my fence. I first called them and got their answering machine during business hours and left a message asking for a certain person to call me back because I was referred by someone and got no return call. I called again a few days later and left another message and finally they returned the call and he said he was going to pass me off to someone else to do the quote, but he will have to call me back when he gets back in. I said okay, I guess that’s fine. A few more days passed with no call, so I call again and they have no idea who I am. Finally they get the right guy to call me back and I get him to come over and do the estimate, mind you over a week has gone by so far. He came over on a Monday and said he will call me back shortly with a price. I waited until the following Tuesday to call him back(over a week) and of course, I get the message again(why these people never answer their phones???) I leave a message and now it is Thursday and I am still waiting. I am tired of calling these people. I called Aztec, the people who originally put in my fence and they seemed happy to head right over an do the estimate today. Why I didn’t call them in the first place is beyond me.

i was a masterbilt customer for many years having over $ 6000 fencing installed 15 years ago and having used them for repairs in the past. But I called them recently to have fence repairs done and no called me back for days. When I did finally reach them the estimator never showed up and never called. When they finally did send people out they never called back with an estimate, nor did they mail one to me. i would avoid this company. It has major problems with communications. Aztec Fencing more than proved to be up to the job quickly, efficiently and with a great customer service approach… fm 10⁄2011
