On July 2nd, my 3 friends and I were on a trip from Chicago to Kenosha. In Waukegan, I started popping spokes (6) on my rear tire and it was barely rideable. I just bought the bike the day before from a very good shop that donates bikes to the needy. Anyhow, I found Midwest Bikes and Dino and his father couldn’t have been nicer and more helpful. They gave me an incredible, generous deal on a replacement tire and I was on my way with my friends in about a half hour! Pure bike angels! I will be visiting them again soon! Thanks, Dino!

This place rocks.
The owner and his brother are both very knowledgeable with biking and are more than willing to help their customers out! I went in to buy a bike seat and ended up talking to the owner’s brother for a good 45 minutes. The owner’s brother is a guru of biking and a truly inspiring person. These guys are doing this for the love of cycling and helping other people love cycling as well. I am not an avid bike rider so I can’t provide input of the options they have to offer but I definitely recommend supporting this local business! :)
