Nice little homey tap room at the local brewery. Excellent beers. You can get flights. Good prices. You can also buy growlers and bombers. The owners and their family run this place and it’s fun to just chat beer with them. I recommend it anytime you want to have some good conversation and craft beer.

Fun little place tucked away in an industrial area. It’s great to see these start-​ups and try their wares. This was a relaxing respite on a weekday evening. Come in and support local business, have a shandy and relax!

Grayslake, IL
This is a great little brewery in Waukegan. They distribute bombers of high-​end craft beer throughout most of Lake County.
Yesterday, I stopped in their tap room for their Mai Tag (May Day) event. The room has a cool, relaxed vibe enhanced with good music.
I had two pints and a currywurst sandwich for $ 14 (nice value). The sandwich consisted of a grilled whole sausage chopped-​up and drenched in awesome sauce. It was excellent. I had two pints: Super Chong — an imperial IPA, and Maui Trickster — a milk stout with hints of chocolate and toasted coconut. Super Chong is very good. Maui Trickster is out of this world!
