Stroke of Genius

I recently went to Arte in Wauwatosa for a canvas painting class and had an awesome experience (this was my first), so when we booked a group night to paint wine glasses, I was expecting the same type of business. Friendly, funny, interactive, and most of all helpful.
This experience was anything but that. We were with a group of 13 women, ranging from 22 to about 80 for an after wedding shower party. We all sat down, and the «instructor» had set out pictures of examples and told us to go ahead when we were ready. She gave us zero instruction. As we all thought we were going to be following a step by step, which would be great because 99% of us had never done this before and had no idea what we were doing.
The instructor said if we need help to ask. She didn’t walk around and offer suggestions, her and her other partner barely interacted with us. If I would have known this was going to be the case, I would have hosted the party in my living room and saved us all $ 35.
When we sit down with freelance to do whatever we wanted, no help or instruction, it seemed pointless to be there. Sorry, but this was a joke of a business. I will definitely not be returning.

My wife and I just left there, after a two hour birthday party. They seemed pretty unorganized, the double booked the party room and but they were able to recover from that mishap pretty well. The instructor, seemed as though she was making stuff up as she went along. Het instructions were very vague, abd I spent most of the time asking «what?» The birthday girl had fun, but I wouldn’t go back to this place.
