Waukesha Public Library

Really nice layout, great selection of books to read from, and alot of stations to guide you along the way! Nicely situated in downtown, with plenty of parking, and pretty clean and welcoming. I would continue going here for my research needs!

Seeing as I was just given the title of Duchess by Unilocal,I figure I need to write about my love of the library. Being voted the best library in the state for 2011 gives the library some bragging rights and that they must take. I am a fan of being able to place books On Hold (even if they are currently on the shelves) so that the next time you can make it to the library, your book, movie, CD is available for you. And the notification process is via email and once at the library you can easily find your resources you put on hold.
I haven’t used all entities of the library, but I love to check out what is new in the front of the library. Some new book always catches my eye. And the theme tables in the front also have nice collections on them.
I find there are plenty of computers to use to look up books or do research on. The staff is always courteous to me (probably because of my occasional fines they get from me – just kidding, they are always smiling). It’s a very inviting and relaxing place to be able to take a break from my hectic life.
