I came to Tom Dooley after hearing coworkers rave about the apples from here and how they were the best in the area and some of the best they had. Tom Dooley has gravel parking to the right as soon as you enter, from the parking lot the orchards are visible, but with fences around them. Upon entering the store I noticed different sections with apples listed above each one, and walked down each aisle checking the various kinds. They have a bakery selling apple pies, scones, muffins and more and also have a few freezers filled with unbaked apple pies and of course they also have cider. I bought a 10lb bag of first selected Cortland for $ 11 and was happy with the flavor. I will deff come back to Tom Dooley next year for apples.

I went to Wisconsin on business for a couple of weeks. After being HIGHLY recommended to me from several clinics I visited throughout Wisconsin I figured I would give Tom Dooley’s a shot. The actual orchard/shop is really adorable and the lady working there was a doll. I picked up half a dozen Honeycrisp apples and a caramel apple for the road. The Honeycrisp apples were good… not too much better than other apples of the same type that I have eaten previously. The caramel apple was delicious. It was sweet and covered in a lot of caramel. ALSO– They only accept cash. There is a bank in the town right next door that has an ATM if you need to stop. Overall, I enjoyed my treat from Tom Dooleys. I wouldn’t make a special trip there again, but I would stop if I was already driving past the exit.
