We ordered the double crust and garlic cheese bread for take out. The pie was delicious and the toppings flavorful. Overall, I would highly recommend this pizza. It was ready for us to pick up on time. I chose to pick up because they told me delivery would take one hour.

Ordered delivery. They said it would take an hour. Didn’t get my pizza for 2 hours. Finally got my long waited for deep dish pizza. It looked good but fell short of my expectations. It tasted good but was it was cool. Felt like it was missing something. But for Wisconsin it’s a good Chicago style pizza I guess. Combo sandwich was good however. Won’t be ordering again though because it’s expensive and I’m not waiting 2 hours again

After having several lunch slices over the past year, with deep dish slices only on Fridays, I decided to order a whole deep dish pizza for dinner.
Inside Chicagoland, you could not get away with topping a deep dish pizza with anything other than pepperoni or sausage, but in Wausau all the toppings are available. We added green pepper, onions, along with pepperoni.
Traditional, very flavorful tomato sauce topped our pie. The thickness was half of what I have had in Chicago, and the crust was unusually bland.
This is a take-out joint with few inside chairs.
I’ll stick with a slice over my lunch hour.

We happened into Ropa’s and I am so happy we did. The pizza is amazing! My boys (3 of them ranging 5 — 9) loved it too. Not only was it great pizza, one of the owners was working the register and was very happy to tell us a little about them. I haven’t had service like that for years. You know, the kind were even though you just walked in for the first time, it was like a old hangout. We will definitely be visiting again the next time we are in town.

Extremely impressed with the service. Pizza arrived hot and ready to eat, and they didn’t forget any of the extra stuff I asked for. This was the best veggie pizza. The tomato sauce was a little sweet and tangy to my taste buds… yummy. Best pizza ever, thank you Ropa’s.

Great Chicago style pizza. I’m from Chicago so I know. Very friendly staff. Fresh ingredients and yummy crust. They only have deep dish by the slice on Friday so if you are passing through town on another day call in advance. They had pie ready in 30 minutes which is fast for deep dish. We will be back.

Finally tried the Italian Beef sandwich and it sucked. I asked that the sandwich be dipped in the au jus (FAIL). I asked for sweet peppers which was a huge FAIL. They gave me uncooked chopped green pepper and there was not enough meat for me. They have the pizza down pat and now they need to work on Chicago Beefs.

Great pizza, best in Rib Mtn.
Only reason for not giving them 5 stars is that the pizza sizes are limited to 12 and 14 in the Pan Style.
They offer larger 16 and 18 inch pizzas called Double Dough. Which are regular pizzas not cooked in a pan.
These are not shown on their paper or website menu.
I was told when picking up my order that they will be updating there menu soon to show these larger pizzas.

Excellent pizza. I am pretty picky when it comes to pizza, and this was one of the best pizzas I have had. We need one of these in my home town. Very good crust, good sauce, good amount of toppings.

Came in for a late lunch and was very impressed. Just got a single slice of pepperoni and it was some of the best pizza I’ve had in awhile. Portion was good. Price was good. Staff was courteous. Not too much more you could ask for north of Chicago.

Pizza was amazing! Went in for slice of the day special for lunch — WONDERFUL! Was able to sit down in the restaurant (about 6 tables) and watch TV over lunch break. Have also had their pasta — the best around!
