Go Green Architecture and Supply

This was a great local store with green living supplies. Sadly, it is closed now. Arte took over the entire space. Arte is awesome though.

There aren’t a lot of places like this outside of California or Vermont: an ecologically friendly architect and landscape engineer. With a storefront to boot. I’ll venture that Go Green Architecture + Supply is a rare gem in our neck of the woods.
Being a renter, the main features here are a bit out of my league: ecological landscaping, rainwater capture systems, soy-​based concrete, sunlight-​transfer lighting, and the like. They have a great selection of tiling materials there for your next project. If I had a lawn I would’ve bought the fancy Fiskars brand push lawnmower on the spot.
What brought me here was the vermicomposting supplies. Yep, worms. Go Green has the whole selection of goods offered by the local compost queen who runs
. All of it: books, supplies, fancy systems, and even humble starter kit made from a glorified storage bin. And of course the little wigglers themselves.
Anyways, for those of you in the market for energy-​saving or sustainable home supplies, make Go Green your first stop!
