I’m surprised to see that I haven’t reviewed JJill yet. It tends to be one of my «back up» stores, though more for casual wear than work wear.
I love the Wearever collection for work dresses that pack well and as advertised, never wear out. Things like tees and sweaters are made very well and often have nice trim touches. Know that they vanity size pretty hard here, so you may want to look at a size smaller than your usual. Sales tend to be worthwhile and there’s always a good sized clearance rack at the back.
Service tends to be hit or miss. I like that they’ll order me a different color/size and ship it for free. Personally, I’ve never been hassled on a return. There is some definite «spend assessment» going on — if I walk in not «dressed» I’m generally going to be ignored.
About 60% of the stock is pretty awful — suburban mom wear in garish colors or with unfortunate sparkles. If you stick with the basics, it’s not bad.

This review is for the «Husband Waiting Area Only».
Probably my favorite of all the places I have been forced to wait at. Lacking only in someone to serve beverages. This place has it all: Secluded sitting area, reading material, OK music, and a clear view of the checkout. They even employ a brilliant strategy I have not seen used elsewhere. Just about when my wife is ready to check out, one of the other saleswomen comes over to engage in conversation with me. My feeling is that she has been sent decoy to distract me so I don’t notice my wife at the checkout so I miss the total on the register. Brilliant!

J Jill has the most beautiful clothing. And if you can’t find your size, they will get it for you from another store.
The staff is very helpful. The store is nicely laid out and the flow is easy.
