El Senor Tequila Mexican Restaurant #2

Lunch buffet is by far the best thing they have got going here! Very good most of the time. Inconsistent most of the time

You have to travel to the edge of waverly to reach this shabby on the outside Mexican fiesta on the inside restaurant.
We went for a birthday party on a Sunday morning about 11. It wasn’t busy but we were greeted immediately by a nice lady. Our waiter was fantastic. We had a large group of people and he got our drinks immediately and kept the refills coming.
Half our group did the breakfast buffet. The other half ordered from the menu. The menu items were served very quickly and looked authentic. I should have done that route.
I did the buffet. If I would have come earlier I’m sure it would have been fresher and fuller. They had classics such as eggs, sausage links and patties, pancakes and biscuits and gravy. They also had rice and refried beans and I guess they normally have breakfast burritos. The burritos were out and they only make so many, once they are gone they are gone.
The pancakes were quite good, better than you would think for a Mexican restaurant. But nothing else was epic.
The restaurant was clean and the décor tasteful. This is a restaurants on one side and bar on the other. I bet it’s pretty hopping in the evenings.
We had a 10 year olds birthday party here because it’s his favorite place to eat. The waiter offered plates and spoons for the cake and took great care of our table.
I could have probably given five stars if I would have ordered off the menu as what I had from the buffet was not awesome. I know better for next time.
