Can’t say enough about this place. From the young man (Samuel) that met us at the door to the cook (also Samuel) who checked on us at our table, treated us like family. I had chicken Marsala it was so good. Probably the Best I’ve ever had. My hubby had the best steak he ever tasted (the filet), the kids had chicken Alfredo. Our friends had catfish. We were all very pleased. You must save room for the buttermilk pie. I can’t wait to go back to Loretta Lynn’s so we can visit this place again.

SO worth the drive to Waverly, just 30 minutes from Dickson. Atmosphere is beautiful, with soft music and private seating. The food was outstanding! Fried green tomatoes, roast beef with real mashed potatoes and fresh green beans. Italian grilled chicken with spinach, provolone, marinara & sautéed mushrooms. Absolutely melts in your mouth. All fresh ingredients. And bring your own bottle of wine!
We can not wait to come back.

Stopped by a while back while visiting back home. Had a perfectly cooked piece of catfish and some near-​perfect fries. A homey meal in a casual setting and very fair prices. If you’re ever in Waverly, give Samuel’s a try.
