What a delight to stumble upon this cozy café in downtown Waverly. Great desserts and really good coffee on this rainy day were the perfect icing on this day trip. We will definitely make plans to return on our next visit out ‘west’.

Such a cool place to eat, great people and the food is good. The atmosphere is relaxing and you never feel rushed. They also offer free wifi that is fast and no hassles. I will be back as often as I can.

Brought my real estate clients in for lunch when house hunting in Waverly. Great food, quick & friendly service. Loved the atmosphere. Lunch for 4 people was about $ 35, which I thought was very reasonable. I ordered the Chicken Caesar sandwich… YUM!

This place is quaint and quiet is in the heart of waverly. It is unique and one of the best places to grab a quick lunch if you’re in town for a visit or passing through. They make all of their customers feel welcome. You can’t go wrong with any of the menu items. All of their desserts are not anything you’ll find at Walmart. Their soups are amazing! And I can’t say enough good things about their sandwiches. You have to go!

We just moved to the area not long ago. Moving from Franklin, TN to this quaint small town, I was needing a fix of my regular downtown coffee shop in Franklin. Amazing! EVERY time I have a friend visit our new home, we head for this little café, The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, coffee is wonderful, and their homemade soups are splendid. I would recommend this hidden gem to anyone.

Excellent coffee, both hot and iced(trust me… in the summer you want EVERYTHING iced), good sandwiches and soups(have the grilled cheese sammich and tomato soup if it’s on the menu when you go), and awesome cakes and pies. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The café has comfy chairs if you want to sit and surf the interwebs while you get your caffeine fix. The Sunday dinners are hit or miss for me, but that just means while some have been excellent, some have just been okay. They are far and away better at typical«southern» dishes than lasagna and the like.

So another solid showing from the Waverly Café. I still think they’re a on the pricey side but still pretty good. The turkey BLT was pretty good but the baked potato soup that was their soup of the day is what really took me by surprise, smooth, creamy and with the bacon mixed in a tasty add on to my sandwich. My gf got their veggie sandwich-which was good, good enough that I might consider ordering it on my own and I’m one who firmly believes that a sandwich should have some sort of meat in it to retain eligibility of being called a sandwich. The pecan pie a la mode was also well done. Our server brought it out to us with caramel sauce on half of it-her justification was she wasn’t sure if it was something we wanted. A little weird, what if we didn’t want it? Would she have gone back and scraped it off? I’m still not a coffee fan so I didn’t get any but the Peach Arnold-peach iced tea and lemonade was a good mix, too much ice in my opinion. Still the best place in Waverly
