Absolutely nothing special here.
This is your basic run of the mill tex-​mex restaurant.
Its not bad food. Its just that there is nothing special about this place. Everything on the menu is just ho hum.
The service is almost always lacking with drink glasses almost always going empty.
The only thing good about this place is that it keeps people out of the good restaurants on busy days so I don’t have to wait in line.

Pretty good. The hot-​sauce is different. At first it tastes sweet then hits you with some spice. Enchilada dinner was good. Only went here because all the other Mexican restaurants were packed and it turned out to be a pretty good choice. Prices were reasonable also.

This is a great Mexican restaurant in our area. The place is clean, quiet, easy to get in and out of. The wait staff are very professional and courteous. The management is walking around checking on people and making sure they are being well attended to. The food is very good for a chain and the price is reasonable.

We visited on a Sunday afternoon. It took so long to be greeted at the hostess stand that we almost walked out. They weren’t busy but we still received bad service. Our waitress spent more time talking to her fellow co-​workers that were eating on break, than the two tables that she had. We only got drink refills when we asked for them. She never took away empty glasses, chip baskets, or any other plates that we were done with.
The food wasn’t very good. We started out with the queso. It was thin and very bland. It remind me of cheese that would come out of a can. Then I got a beef burrito/​beef enchilada plate. This was slightly better than the queso, but the beef could have used some more flavor. The rice and beans were nothing special. I don’t remember what my family got there but they said it was just OK and haven’t asked to go back.
Bad service, mediocre food, we won’t be returning.

The food isn’t great but isn’t horrible. The staff is horrible for the most part. I think I had good service 1 out of 5 times I’ve been here. The last time, our waitress wanted a better tip than what we left so she decided to reprint the receipt, give herself a larger tip and forge my signature.

I had a chicken breast sandwich. It was nicely grilled, covered lightly in cheese and peppers. The red beans were tasty, they had a kick with jalapenos. The chips were fresh. The building was clean inside and out. The waitress took care of our large party with politeness and quickness.

Really substandard stuff. Looks and tastes like it came right out of a TV dinner. Sorry, but it’s true.
The service was very prompt, but considering how bad the food was, I’m not sure they were doing me any favors.

Great salsa and fajitas. It’s one of the best in waxahachie. Packed on Sunday’s but still staffed well. This is a decent tex mex!

Worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. Reminds me of enchilada day in the junior high cafeteria. Terrible service as well.

This is a pretty good place to come to now and then. We like the chips and salsa, and they have a Bob’s dip now to. (queso and meat dip) I like getting the crunchy tacos or the cheese enchiladas. Service is usually pretty good.

I didn’t think it was possible to screw up Mexican food, but TaMolly’s proves it can be done. The chips and salsa tasted store bought and the queso dip was barely warm when it came to the table. The chicken enchiladas we okay but nothing spectacular. I did enjoy the cheese sauce over the enchiladas. Service was acceptable but again, nothing spectacular. Overall, TaMolly’s is a «one and done».

Parking lot looked full, and there was a wait at 1:30 on a Sunday, when we decided to try this place out.
The chips and salsa were great, we all loved the warm chips. Also the Chiladas Blanco were really good. My husband ordered the fajitas and said he has had better, these could use some seasoning. The tea tasted like it had been sitting around a long time. Overall the food was not bad.
However, as said in other reviews, the service was very slow at every step, taking our order, bringing the food, & bringing the check. So don’t go here if you are in a hurry.

The chili con queso used to top enchiladas or burritos is the gross processed, canned cheese you get on nachos at sporting event. Expected a little better. On the bright-​side, the service is super fast even during the lunch hour.

This is our stand by for Mexican food. Its consistently good, not awesome but good and the prices are really good. Especially taco Tuesdays and enchilada Wednesdays. I think they have Fajita Fridays but never been to that. I’m a fan and recommend you try it.

Ate here on a Saturday night at 8:00…we were one of three tables in the restaurant. Puzzling, since the food was good and service was fast and attentive. «Bob’s Dip» was very good and a large portion for the price. Everything was fresh, seasoned well and served at expected temp. Perfectly fine tex-​mex. Restaurant did smell of bleach when we arrived; not overwhelming but noticeable. Well-​kept and clean dining area.

Good Mexican food, great specials tues/​weds. Great chips & salsa. But I can tire of the food quickly and usually don’t want my leftovers. I don’t recommend getting a salad b/​c it’s usually full of water from rinsing the lettuce (but at least they washed it!) I try to change things up and leave stuff out of my order sometimes so it’s still interesting later.

This is great Tex-​Mex. Very impressed with the food and the warm chips and salsa are very good. This «chain» is much better than some «authentic» places I have been.
