The Two Amigos Tacqueria

We have never ate at this location but because of the reviews we decided to give it a try. When we arrived there were only two girls working… Well one was working the other just seemed to be moving at a speed slower than stand still.
Every single table was dirty. We were told to sit and they would clean it up. After a few minutes we started moving the old food and dirty plates to another table. When the slow waitress saw this she did move the final two items and wiped the crumbs on the floor. She literally used a filthy rag to clean a table! Think about that for a minute.
We were finally brought menus and that was it. We sat for ten minutes without drinks, chips or even a greeting to welcome us.
After not getting any service we left. No one stopped us or came to see why we were leaving. I can’t rate the food but the service is shit!

Whoa! This is as authentic as it’s going to get guys. Fresh hand made flour tortillas, fresh beans and hand cut potatoes… yum!
Soda comes in cans, prices are reasonable, service kinda sucks. The food is so good and fresh, however, that I can overlook the service.
It’s a small town restaurant, and the tiny space reflects it. Great place to try if you’re near. Do it! You won’t be sorry.

Loved this place. Took my family. Ordered burrito meals and kid’s meals. My kids inhaled every last bite of their food. The burrito plates were insanely HUGE and delicious… all for $ 8 each. Crazy cheap and crazy good. Small little «hole in the wall» and that makes it even more perfect. Loved the authentic feel and the staff was beyond friendly. Will definitely be visiting again and recommending to friends.

We love two amigos! It is the most authentic Mexican restaurant I’ve been to in a while, and who Would think you would find it in waxahachie? We go here Often and haven’t found anything bad yet! The service is really unpredictable but I’ll survive knowing I’m getting good food!

Now I usually get my food to go, but today my mother had come down to visit, so we decided we were going to dine here. We walked in, and the only tables that were available were dirty, the hostess suggested we sit at one of the dirty tables, I cringed at the very thought of sitting at a table full of people’s wasted food, trash, and filthy dishes. I asked her how long it would be, before the dining area would get some attention. She said «5 min». Honey, I told my mom let’s go, and out we went.

Every. Single. Taco. Is. Delicious!!! This is the hole in the wall you have been looking for. Authentic and delicious.

We have only tried their breakfast burritos but they are to die for! They are made with fresh tortillas and they are huge.

I recently moved to Texas from San Diego, California. I was worried because I had heard that it was hard to find authentic Mexican food in Texas. Well, I was so happy to find Two Amigos Taqueria in Waxahachie. The menu is basic. The prices are very reasonable, but above all the food was amazing! The tortillas are freshly hand made. The carne is tasty. The arroz y frijoles are super yummy.
Without a doubt AUTHENTIC Mexican food!

LOVE LOVE LOVE! Nice to finally have REAL, authentic Mexican food in Waxahachie! My mother is from Mexico so Taco Bell’s and Taco Cabana’s just are not Mexican enough for me! This is true Mexican food! Mmmmmm.

This place has two dining rooms, one is around the corner from the other. I came hoping that we would get authentic mexican food. I was not dissapointed. The chips were hot (temperature) so I knew they were freshly cooked. The salsa (they give two kinds) was very flavorful. The green salsa was a bit spicy.
The Mexican plate which had 1 tamale, 1 cheese enchilada and 1 crunchy taco with rice and beans was very authentic and tasty.
My boyfriend had the enchilada combo. He said it was very good and had lots of flavor.
Our waitress was very sweet and even allowed us to move tables when we had an extra person join us unexpectedly.
I would recommend this place to everyone. It has good atmosphere and great food with big portions.
They do close early, about 3pm so make sure to get there early.

The real enchilada, best I have had since I left West Texas. The carne guisada enchiladas were the best I’ve had. The Tortas were made fresh and were also excellent. The burritos were massive, at least 18 inches long.

Delicious!!! The food is fresh and made to order. The venue is small but they have two dining areas and an outdoor patio for dining. I had the burrito is good gawd… it’s a footlong burrito! The prices are awesome as well as the food. Definitely a place to go if you’re in the Waxahachie!

Tiny nasty restaurant. Food always takes about 45 min to come out. We tried several times and it is just gross. Taco Bell is better than this hole in the wall. Don’t waste your time or your money.

This was the best Mexican I’ve had in a while. Everything was homemade and tasted like the food my Mexican friends made. I had the barbacoa burrito and was pleasantly surprised that it was not only a homemade tortilla, but was a foot long! The horchata was good, too! The servers were all very friendly.

This is such a fun place to grab breakfast on a Saturday morning. The food is amazing and the portions are huge! Just be prepared for the crowd and know that you will leave smelling like a burrito!

Awesome food. Incredible tacos, breakfast and menudo. Homemade corn and flour tortillas. Everything is incredibly fresh.

Oh my god they have the best breakfast ever. I only order takeout due to the dinning being so small. Other than the dinning room I would recommend this restaurant for anyone who enjoys Mexican food. Especially breakfast tacos and burritos.

I have to stop by every time I am in town. huge portions of food at a cheap price that can easily feed two people. Everything is made fresh and to order. Out of all the Mexican restaurants in Waxahachie this has the cleanest kitchen. The staff is always friendly and quick to bring your order.

It is absolutely delicious. It is homestyle Mexican Food. I have the Chicken Flautas and they are to die for! I definitely recommend it!

We are new to Texas after a recent move from California. We thought we would do some exploring down in Waxahachie. We Unilocaled up this place and checked out the reviews. Let’s try it.
The food is really excellent and the servers are very friendly. Best tortilla I have had in a long time. It went great with my Chorizo and eggs. I would give it a 5^th star for being good at what it is. However, it was so tight inside that it was on the uncomfortable side. That said, the locals sure know this is the real deal for Mexican food. I would certainly go back if we were nearby. If the weather was better I would eat outside and stretch out.
