Harris Teeter

It’s Harris Teeter aka HT so it’s typical HT with the bread station with various spreads to try, a bountiful veggie and fruit section for your picking along with a friendly staff packing the shelves with the fresh veggies and fruit.
I’ve only had a couple issues here which is normal when you go to the same store all he time. My issues were minor such as missing a bag, opened item, expires item, etc. they were all quickly resolved by the managers. My only incident that really pist me off was a bagged who saw that I was with a newborn and put my bags in my cart and didn’t offer to help. I usually wouldn’t have cared but I had my hands full and I observed this bagger offer a lady in the next lane to help her to her car and she was hands free with no baby and just 1 or 2 bags. I begin to ask him about helping me and he looked shocked and walked away. I immediately spoke to a manager on my way out and the manager offered to help and I let him know that I was OKAY and just wanted to make them aware (fact is I needed help but being Ms. Stubborn/​Independent I refused it at this point). The manager insisted and pushed my cart all the way to the car and discussed the situation and apologized to me. He even had me to get in the car while he loaded the items into the trunk.
He is the real MVP and that is the reason this review is 3stars in conjunction with the fact that the staff in produce is so friendly and I love Scott (bread guy).

I didn’t think I would ever review a grocery store, but this one is great! This is my neighborhood Harris Teeter and it’s really the only one my family will shop at.
I’m rating it 5 stars because of the employees and the service. The employees are very helpful and when they aren’t checking people out at the register, they are standing waiting to help customers check out. Also, sometimes we come across problems with something costing us more than what was stated, and they have always fixed those problems and are usually more generous.

This is a nice Teeter with a good store layout. I am pleased with the deli, bakery, seafood, and other departments at this store. The employees are very helpful here. For example, I was in this store a couple of months back shopping for items for a birthday dinner and wanted to get a fruit tart instead of a birthday cake. The only tart in the case looked a little messy. So, they made a whole new fruit tart for me while I completed my other shopping. It was ready super-​fast and I was very pleased with the service and the tart.

I love harris teeter and its employees!!! Everything is great there and I especially love when there are super doubles for coupons!
Cookies for the kids and even samples at the deli!

Pretty standard neighborhood Harris Teeter, updated within the last year or so with a new pizza counter and Starbucks. Overall clean, and usually easy to get a relatively close parking spot.

My neighborhood HT. Staff is friendly and helpful. Store is clean, displays neat. Overall a great shopping experience. The first place I shop.
