Cinnamon was awesome! Gave me an awesome natural color and a great cut! I also brought my two daughters with me and the whole salon was so nice to us all! My 3 year old got a trim and it was an awesome experience for her as well. Thank you for great service. Salon has a nice high-​end feel to it, but without the sticker shock of high-​end salons. All around great. Will certainly be returning!

Michaela has done my hair several times now and I’m very happy. In fact I just scheduled another appointment with her today. I’m picky and she has always done her best to accommodate me. She’s very pleasant and I wouldn’t think of not using her.

I needed a quick touch up on my roots before I went away for the weekend and could not get in to see my regular stylist. I scheduled an evening appointment for last night with Michaela. I knew something was wrong when she would not turn me towards the mirror as she was blowing it out. Instead of my regular ashy blonde, she had turned my hair red. She then spent the next several hours trying to «fix» it. She did a few applications of toner, tried adding more highlights and tried a different color. Five hours after walking in my scalp was raw and my hair was a trashy copper color. Midway this ordeal the owner, Angie, went in the back with Michaela and then decided to go home. I called this morning to see if someone would fix this mess. The owner couldn’t be bothered to even come to the phone and, although the receptionist was very apologetic, the best they could do was get me in mid-​day tomorrow. I would have been better off using a boxed color from CVS.

Awesome service and really nice staff, and a great job fixing my previously in the day (somewhere else) butchered stacked bob and making it a pretty stacked bob!

Colleen at Noma is awesome!!! I am a SUPER picky, SUPER high maintenance client! I have gone to every high end salon in Charlotte and she beats them ALL! I had a stylist in Charlotte that was «ok» but she moved away & I was again left without one. I researched reviews online & asked everyone I saw with great hair but for every one who said their stylist was the best there were others who disagreed. So by the time I could live with the roots & split ends no more… I did something I have never imagined doing… I called the nearest salon & got an appointment with the first stylist available. It could have gone horribly wrong but I got so lucky! At first I was too nervous to do anything but a quick trim & subtle highlights but every time I went it always looked so great! So a couple years later & I have full highlights/​lowlights & about 14 inches less hair length! I decided to do a drastic change this year & donate my super long hair. Although Colleen had always done a great job… she had only trimmed & shaped my hair… so I was again nervous about diving into the unknown. But she did such a fabulous job I have never once missed
my long hair! I am in my early 30’s, consider myself a trendy person, and a beauty/​hair/​makeup addict! I have naturally very dark brown hair with 30% gray. It is now highlighted heavily to a medium blonde (& she’s done it lighter with great results).you know how hard it is to keep dark hair from looking brassy when going so light. But my hair always looks flawless when I leave Colleen! If anyone still has doubts I will be happy to send pics of my many styles over last few years. Go to Colleen at Noma in downtown Waxhaw… you will get a high end style (best I’ve EVER had) without the trip to Charlotte or the high price tag!
