Big Boy Restaurants

It’s a typical Big Boy… just go eat some breakfast or a burger and expect average or below average food and service.

Best big boy hamburgers, which have two parties and a special sauce that melts in your mouth. I love them. Service is good also

If I could give it a zero I would. We went in at 4pm on a Tuesday there was one waitress. It took us about 10 minutes to get acknowledged and seated. We were a party of 4. 2 people behind us left, family of 6, a couple and a party of 4 were still waiting to get seated.
As I said there was one waitress which we found out was new at this, she was promoted to assistant manager from back of the house. We were finally able to order at 4:30.
2 people had fish & chips which they enjoyed, I had a slim Jim which was awful, the other was a bowl of cream of broccoli soup. The soup seriously looked like dog barf and tasted very bad too.
All of a sudden a manager shows up. She had been in the back this whole time. Our poor waitress had broken down crying because of the horrible situation she had been put in. She did the best she could and that manager let her sink.

I’ve been there several times. It is always clean which is extremely important to me. The food is good (not great) and the service is good. Servers are always pleasant. Food is slow coming out of the kitchen though, even when there are only a few customers so I don’t know what’s going on there. Desserts are nothing to write home about. They certainly don’t look like the pictures on the menus, that’s for certain. Prices are reasonable and there is plenty of parking.

Stopped in on our way south. The breakfast bar was way overpriced for what you get. The eggs were like soup, bacon was so-​so and the potatoes were cold. I suggest you skip the breakfast bar and stick with the menu.

Food was good we received it promptly and correct. The was nice and polite and we were seated right away. The restaurant was clean. I would eat here again.

Service was horribly slow, French toast was burnt on the side you don’t see, scrambled eggs were barely scrambled… I think the cook is trying to get fired
