Paul’s Auto Repair & Towing

This past weekend I was skiing with my girlfriend at Elk Mountain in Union Dale, PA. We came out after a day on the slopes on Friday, and I found that my rear tire on the driver’s side was flat. My girlfriend and I are from Jersey, so we were completely unfamiliar with the area. After putting on the spare tire, I got on Unilocal and saw Paul’s Garage had five stars. Let me tell you, they have a five-​star rating for a reason. I called them up, and the man I spoke to was very helpful. He asked me the make and model of my car, and ordered me up a tire to put on in the morning, just in case I needed it. After spending the night in our bed and breakfast, my girlfriend and I drove down to Paul’s in the morning. I have to say, it was easily the nicest garage I’ve ever been in — clean and brand new, with a very comfortable lobby. There were two other customers waiting, and only three chairs, but the receptionist got up and grabbed another chair for me and my girlfriend. I was impressed with the friendly and accommodating staff. The mechanics looked at my car right away, and it turned out that my tire just needed a patch — I wasn’t even charged for the repair! I couldn’t believe how nice of a gesture it was. We were in and out in about fifteen minutes, and back skiing on Elk Mountain in no time. If you are in need of a good garage with great service in the Scranton/​Elk Mountain area, look no further than Paul’s!

We took the car to the dealer in Scranton because we didn’t know any service station in the area. Paul’s was recommended and we made an appointment for an oil change. Not only did they service the car in less than an hour, we got a complete diagnostic on the car, including tire wear. All this for less than $ 30. Will be coming back for the next servicing.

John, Jeremy, Mary… the whole team gets Customer Service. We found our new mechanic when Frankie came out for a tow back in September 2011 and have been happy ever since.

Love Paul’s. Had a seal go. They had it diagnosed and fixed by days end. Same with my water pump a year later. Also had a horrendous squeal coming from my suspension. That was in and out in 10 minutes with no prior notice. Everything they do is up front, honest, quick and at a reasonable rate. They are my first choice for all my maintenance and repair needs.

Paul Garage provided us with exceptional friendly service. The tow guy, the receptionist, the mechanic and the manager went out of their way to serve us. They were very professional and courteous. With us being from out of town this made us feel very comfortable. My van was up and running in no time and we arrived home safely. Thank you and God bless!!!
