I just joined this gym today, and it seems promising. The gym recently opened, so everything is clean. It also doesn’t have that«sweaty gym» scent yet, which is always a plus. I have been having trouble finding a good gym, not so much because I am picky, but because my kids sure are. I have joined gyms in the past that I barely went to because I couldn’t convince my four year old to wait for my in the kids room while I worked out. Thankfully, I don’t think I will have that problem here. My two kids were in the kids babysitting area while I was getting a tour of the gym. They enjoyed every second of it. My four year old didn’t want to leave! The babysitters all seemed really nice, as well. Additionally, the child area seems secure, which is really important to me. You check your kids in with a fingerprint and can only pick them up with your fingerprint. It would be even better if they had some sort of pass so that only members with kids enrolled could access the room. It’s a crazy world out there. However, I do think my kids will be okay because they are being supervised. For those of you who have kids with food allergies, they only allow water in that room. This gym has many amenities. There is a big screen TV in the room where they have classes which you could use to play workout videos when a class is not in session. You can choose a video from their computer that is hooked up to the TV. The gym has a full size basketball court, and a pool. Although, I don’t see myself ever using the pool. Public pools creep me out. I deducted a star for three reasons. Firstly, the gym is expensive. I have to pay an additional $ 45 a month for my two children. Secondly, I wish the childcare services started a little earlier in the morning. 7 am would be perfect! Lastly, although the gym has a sauna and steam room, it is shared by both sexes. I love the sauna and steam room, but I don’t know how I feel about sharing it with males.
