The people that are washing dishes here need to be retrained. First, our plates and silverware came out covered in dust. Then, I received a glass of water with lipstick stains on it. Servers were wonderful about fixing these issues, food was great too… 1⁄5 stars for cleanliness.

This is our go to for pizza and wings. I first discovered Anthony’s in West Palm Beach and immediately asked about franchising options. No dice, the chain is owned solely by one family. The pizza is out of this world, made in what they called a coal-fired oven. Not exactly sure what that is, but it works. Try the sausage, long hots, and onion extra crispy. The wings are baked and slathered in sautéed onions. Remarkable. The salad is also fantastic. Simple and delicious. The beer is cold and the service is great. I’d eat this every night if I could.

Drinks: Goose Island IPA, Bloody Maria Food: Wings(came with onions, and bread) Cheese steak pizza. My husband loves Goose Island IPA so here was happy this was a choice. I LOVED my bloody Maria, I am convinced I picked the best possible drink on the menu. We had the wings to start which are without sauce but with amazing flavor. This was awesome because we are not fans of saucy wings. They came with yummy onions and bread. They were so flavorful. It was a great choice, We split a large Cheese Steak pizza. It was cooked just how we like it, the crust was excellent, just the right amount of toppings, not greasy, and a perfect size for a couple to split. Our waitress was very kind. She checked in on us a couple of times. We loved the décor, it has a really nice vibe. Overall a wonderful experience.

Love this place! Great options for those watching what they eat and those who don’t need to.

4 stars for their meatballs. They make some of the best meatballs I have ever had! And the Eggplant Marino is also very good! The pizzas are ok. We tried the Fresh Mozzarella Sliced Tomato & Basil, and it just seemed like it was lacking flavor. This was also really bad leftover :(We also got a pepperoni, and I was really happy with how many pepperonis were on it, and it was definitely good pizza just not great. I’d eat it again but I wouldn’t actively seek it out kind of pizza. And lastly the bad: the wings. I know everyone said the wings here are good but ours were dry and tough.

The cauliflower pizza here is amazing, you really need to try it to believe it. The only thing preventing me from giving this place a five star rating and visiting more often is the fact that all the beverages are sold in bottles and cans. That means no refills. It is also much worse for the environment than serving beverages in reusable glasses. This is eSpecially insulting when it comes to iced tea. How hard is it to boil water and throw in a few teabags to make iced tea and provide refills?

Tuna is stellar; perfectly seasoned, no mayo and whether served on the best focaccia around or over a mediterranean inspired salad

My dining partner and I have been to Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza in Wayne several times over the past few years, and each time the food has been consistently excellent. The salad is always crisp and fresh, and the house dressing is really good. The pizza is excellent. I’ve had their pizza w/pepperoni, hot pepper, sweet peppers, and another time just plain, and it’s always really good. The wings are excellent. Well done, crisp of the outside, juicy inside, nice flavor. The restaurant is clean, silverware is clean — no spots or grubby marks. The restroom is clean, as well. Anthony’s gets busy, and there are alot of people who bring their kids, so I like to get there early for lunch. The service is very good, too. Our waitress was very pleasant and efficient. Not much more to say — I can’t imagine anyone not liking Anthony’s.

The pizza(we were a party of 10) was great, we had a variety — 4 types, of which the Philly cheese steak had an odd flavor. But this is not the reason for 4 stars. The wings were outstanding. Not to be missed. The salad was good, but it really would have been much improved if it had been chopped. The staff couldn’t have been better. The men’s bathroom, gets a B+ for cleanliness and a big fat F(and a reduced star) for the sexist — mesognist posters of women. Notwithstanding that this is an affront to their gay male customers, this kind of objectification of women is offensive. I don’t need to look at beautiful women while I’m using the bathroom. But really, if you’re going to go down this road, then also have a few posters of shirtless males…

Pleasantly surprised… I had heard and read some negative things, but found none of them to be true. I ended up coming to Anthony’s after a disastrous experience trying to get served add another Radnor pizza spot. We were seated right away, with no wait. Our server was fast and pleasant. We had three different pizzas, as well as meatballs. All were very good. The ingredients seemed very fresh. All of the food came out piping hot. Pizza toppings were generous. I was also pleased to find out that they have a good selection of craft beer. I’m sure to return.

Thin crust pizza perfected. Roasted cauliflower was an amazing experience. Lunch portions only $ 9.99! Friend got the eggplant parm one and it was also delicious. Small salads were huge for the price and totally fresh and tasty!

WOW. Anthony’s is the real deal. I was torn between the eggplant pizza and the cauliflower pizza, but after the waiter disclosed that those two pizzas are probably the best/most popular, I just ordered both! Oh, and I got a plain for good measure. :) Each pizza was unbelievable… I still cannot determine which one was my favorite. The eggplant on the eggplant pizza was not fried, and the plentiful amount of sauce was flavorful and fresh. The cauliflower pizza was so unique, and certainly did not skimp on cauliflower. The plain pizza was just outright amazing. None of the pizzas were limp or greasy. Perfection. The service could not have been better. Our waiter took the time to tell us his favorite pizzas and why he liked them, and even answered our questions concerning future visits to the restaurant(such as if they take reservations — they don’t!) He was so friendly and accommodating, and made me want to return just for such a refreshing personality. The menu is limited, but that doesn’t mean that there isn’t something for everyone. Both standard pizzas and gourmet pizzas are offered. I would much rather dine at a restaurant like Anthony’s that offers a more limited menu but with quality ingredients and service.

Meatballs were really good — especially the gravy and ricotta cheese for dipping the focaccia. As always, the wings were spectacular and filling with the carmelized onions and more bread. Finally, we split a salad with tuna that was also right on. Normally, I think of Anthony’s as noisy, but maybe that is just me preferring to stuff my face and watch the Phils, at the expense of my lucky dining mates. However, tonight I had dinner with a dear old friend and we were able talk enough to pretty much map out the next 20 years of our lives. So, let’s say that the place isn’t too noisy after all!

I went here for a business lunch this past week and had a great experience. We arrived at the heart of the lunch rush, and yet the service was very quick and friendly. I think we were all shocked at how fast the food came out, but they were firing on all cylinders! I didn’t have pizza(surprise! considering where we were), but I had just had pizza the night before so I needed to eat something different. The other two folks DID have the pizza and they were both very happy with it. I had a coal-fired chicken sandwich… which was just amazing. Everything from the caramelized onions to the arugula… was very tasty! I enjoyed a couple of cold draft beers while I was there too — why not? Next time I’ll get the pizza, nice to know they can do something else very well too. I included a picture of my sandwich to get your appetite going.

It’s a small overpriced menu, but incredible food! The crust is well done, coal ovens cook at very high heat so all the pizzas are served a bit burnt. We ordered 3 things from the menu. The Meatballs & Ricotta Pizza, the little meatballs are so tasty the sauce was amazing. Plain pizza, Grande Mozzarella, Italian Plum Tomatoes, Romano Cheese, Basil and Olive Oil. Pizza simple and delicious And an amazing Italian Tuna Salad Sandwich(Tuna salad Lemon, Olive Oil, Tomato & Arugula served on Focaccia Bread). We waited about half an hour for a table, they don’t have an adequate waiting area. The service was very nice, quick and friendly. They do serve liquor, my martini was good. My only complaint is the price. But if your in the area and want a thin crispy pizza give it a try!

The service was fantastic, followed by a wonderfully prepared Italian salad, so much so we bought the dressing to take home. It was more than enough for two people to share. The pizza was crisp, delicious and served up in good order. I asked for a side of marinara and it complimented the wonderful pizza. Coal fired pizza offers up one of the best thin crust pizzas I’ve had in a very long time. The toppings were spot on and delicious!

A nice hangout spot in Wayne with a liquor license which is quite rare off of N Wayne Ave(thank you Radnor Township killjoys and busy-bodies). Come here for pizza– you’ll find almost no alternatives on the menu. Pizza is fairly thin crust and pretty tasty– not greasy at all and toppings are fresh and flavorful. It’s definitely above average pizza. Some people love the wings and other people don’t– they are definitely different and come down to personal preference. When Anthony’s first opened the beer selection was massively disappointing. Since then they’ve expanded the draught list to a more-than-respectable selection. Staff are all friendly and service has always been prompt. There’s a large TV at the bar as well as a number of others above the tables showing whatever sporting events are on for the night. A nice place to wind down and hangout(as long as you’re in the mood for pizza and beer), especially on a Sunday night.

This was just the perfect place for my casual Saturday night! We didn’t know of Anthony’s before since we only moved to the US last year, but now that we do know about it, we’ll be back more often. We started off with their chicken wings. These were probably the best wings I’ve ever had in my life! Nice and crispy, tasty and not dry at all. We followed up with a pizza — I don’t remember which one, but I do remember I wanted all of them! ;-) The pizza was the best we’ve had in the area so far. The crust was perfect, crispy but not burned and not too thick either. They were generous with toppings. Our waiter was very friendly and even took time for small talk even though it was busy. Loved this place and their food!
