The location was convenient to the DMV so I thought I would give it a try. Arrived at 7:30AM and they still didn’t have any fresh bagels prepared. Had no choice other than to take a plain day old. Ordered it with eggs and bacon. The eggs were poured from a carton. Water was literally dripping out from my sandwich. Yikes! The bagel wasn’t any better. It actually wasn’t a real bagel. By my definition, it was more like a roll with a hole. The coffee was weak and the temperature was luke warm. Three strikes and I was out!

These are supposed to be New York Bagels? bleh… don’t think so. What a disappointment. a simple honey wheat bagel with lite cream cheese,(which I ordered scooped, but wasn’t scopped after all — annoying!) was ho-hum and similar to something you’d get anywhere outside of NJ or NY. Nothing terrible, but definitely not good NY style bagels

Aside from being clean and cool technology(ipads at the tables) this place was mediocre at best. When I went in on a Saturday there were no choices of bagels to really choose from. So I asked for a plain toasted with margarine. 1st of all the guy didn’t even know what margarine was and 2nd my bagel was not even toasted like I had asked. Yes the bagel was sweet and soft but there are about 3 other bagel places in the area that have better service and better tasting bagels. Lastly I’d like to say that my coffee was boiling hot/burnt and even if it was fresh it wouldn’t have tasted that good. Will not retun here ever, even if they mail a coupon with 3 free coffees.

This morning I ordered a toasted plain bagel with butter and jelly. When I got to work to eat my bagel I found globs of butter and jelly. I scopped off what I could and was left with a ½ bagel. The bagel is to sweet even without the jelly it was soft consistency but not worth going back for a sweet soft bagel. Very disappointing I thought this would be my new morning spot because the place looks clean and you have variations of bagels and muffins. But if you cant get the proper ratio of butter and jelly on a bagel how do you call your self a bagel shop?

The bagel was soft and delicious, and the green olive cream cheese was to die for. Will come back after our traveling.
