Killer Decks

First things first, they rescheduled an appointment for a quote twice, which is not a big deal but a little annoying because I have to make time to leave work to be home. The last time I talked with someone at Killer Decks, they told me someone wasn’t available on the day I had scheduled and I wasn’t sure when I would be available for them to come out. So I left that phone call thinking no one was coming out at all because I made no arrangements for them to come out other than the original date I expected. Then out of the blue they just show up to my house on the original day but I wasn’t expecting them to because again I left that phone call thinking no one was coming out, and luckily I was home.
Now we move on to Steve. Steve is the person who came out to take measurements and to give my wife and I a quote. He couldn’t have been more unprofessional. Very standoffish, chomping on his gum loudly the whole time he talked with us. He got annoyed because I held his tape measurer in the wrong place against my house. At that point I wanted to tell him to hit the bricks because he couldn’t have acted more like a prick. He then asks my wife and I how much we want to spend, and because we know NOTHING about decks and the cost, we said we weren’t sure. He then barks out «Well, what 2 grand, 3 grand, 6 grand. «We said well not much more than $ 3000. He draws out the same plans that I already had drawn out and then says, I get $ 20 for this and quoted me a price of $ 3600 for just the platform of the deck. I gave him $ 20, which I wish I would have just told him to F off because his attitude was so unprofessional, I don’t know how Killer Decks can have a person like this working for them.
If you are looking for someone to come out a give you a quote on a new deck build, don’t have killer decks come out, unless you can request someone other than Steve. This guy is a destoryer. He made me and my wife feel like we were wasting his time, but in all reality, he wasted our time, and took our money. I cannot recommend Killer Decks based on Steve and his unprofessionalism. I can recommend Supreme Decks though. The person they sent out to give my wife and I a quote (a BETTER QUOTE FOR THAT MATTER WITH CEDAR !!! and THE EXACT SAME PLANS) was so nice and PROFESSIONAL!!!
