I have been to several tailors because I don’t like to wait while the store tailors alters my clothing. I take all of my couture clothing to this tailor and it is always done to perfection and exactly how I ask. The lady that works there is very honest in what can and can’t be done. The price is comparable to other fine tailors and you get what you pay for. Yes it is a hole in the wall but I don’t go there for the «décor».

I’m shocked by the negative reviews on here! I’ve been going to this tailor shop for nearly 5 years for bridesmaids dresses, cocktail dresses, and regular clothes that just don’t fit right. Everyone I’ve worked with has been kind and professional, and they have done a GREAT job tailoring my clothes.
They can be a little expensive, however you get what you pay for. I’ve never once had any issues with what they’ve tailored for me. They’ve been perfect (and generally work very quickly)!

No problem with the work done.
Hole in the wall, no décor, no answering the phone, no air conditioning, just this woman working in the back room. She overcharged me, brought the price down to $ 20 from $ 25 when she saw how disappointed I was when she quoted me a hem on a simple, plain cotton maxi dress. Never took my name or number. Kind of unprofessional for my taste although she seems to have a strong following regardless. She is nice enough.
I am actually confident she does excellent work, but for this price, I can go to Mrs. Conte in Hawthorne who is professional in a proper shop or even just my dry cleaner.
Not a total bust, just not for me.

Great little tailoring shop. She does great work. I always bring my new suits and pants here. She always is accommodating on when I can pick up. A bit pricey for some, however I want things when I want them so I don’t mind because they are reliable.

I had a poor experience here as well. I had my jacket sleeves shortened and back taken in. The sleeves are crooked. She charged me $ 70 as well. Way too much!!!

I will never go back to this place. I brought in a dress that I was wearing to a wedding that needed a slight adjustment to the bust seam. Not only did she wind up making it so tight that I was uncomfortable the entire night, but she charged me $ 70. That is insane.
