This was my first visit to Momma’s Boy. It was a Sunday at 1pm. I ordered the M.B. Cheeseburger, All The Way & Then Some hot dog, crinkle cut fries and a root beer. The staff is friendly and helpful. The customers appeared to be a mix of the older and the younger kind with the college students edging out a majority. I listed to classic rock(post 70’s) and classic alternative rock while enjoying my meal. All the food was great tasting. My only concern was the size of the burger. It was smaller than expected. It was also getting more messy than expected as sauce dripped down constantly like melting snow from a roof. The burgers are inexpensive so keep in mind that two burgers equals one large burger in quantity. The hot dog was great with the sauce staying on top of the leveled meat. The small order of fries was the biggest in quantity of the food items. I did not go home hungry. I didn’t think I’d be mentioning root beer but there was something that made it taste extraordinary.

Well I can start off by telling you that it is so dark on the outside you can not even tell if the place is open. Even the lighting in the lot and the sign itself is hard to see lit, but since lighting has nothing to do with the food I will skip that part *wink*. Now about the real reason for my review. When we went it was not too busy so we were greeted as soon as we entered .We grabbed a menu and found a table. Once we decided what to have I went up to the counter and placed the order. Because all of the food is made to fresh they give you one of those light up vibrating things that let you know your food is ready. They have the normal burgers, hot dogs, fries, salads & sandwiches. We tried the Burgers, Hot Dog, Fries & onion rings. I will work my way backwards first the onion rings. The onion rings were made using whole onions. They were ok nothing special. The fries were crinkle cut fries that looked really good but were not. Once they cooled a little they were not so good. Even when they were hot they were pretty flavorless. Now comes the hot dog. This was something I really wanted to try. They are called Flat top hot dogs because they are split and then cooked on top of the grill. They are all beef, no antibiotics , hormone free and gluten free. The thing that was left off the menu is that they are flavor free. This is not a hot dog that you can eat plain it needs toppings. The more the merrier. Finally the Burger. The Burger was good. It was a little over done for me, but that does not make it a bad burger .It was juicy and had a lot of flavor. The Momma’s sauce was like a Big Mac type sauce. If that is what I was looking for I would have went down the road. They put the burger on a potato roll which will always add a great flavor, but for some reason the outside top of the bun is toasted. That I did not understand at all. They offer a few free toppings(Lettuce, Tomatoes, Pickles & Raw Red Onions but all other toppings are extra and it is per topping. There are a lot of places that offer all of their toppings for free except for Bacon & cheese and the burger is just as good or better. The place has possibilities because they do seem to want to put out good food which is the reason I gave 3 stars and not 2. We also had a Chocolate shake that was listed on the menu as extra thick but when we got it the shake very loose. If you advertise your shakes as extra thick it is simple to figure they should be not be thinner than Egg Nog. They are new and I believe they have a few things to work out. I hope they make some needed menu improvements to help them get better established.

Really good burger and cheese fries. Great prices and nice atmosphere! Reminds me of the days long ago when I was a kid and hung out with my buddies after school. Cool building designed in a circle.

The food was fine but a bit expensive for a hot dog and hamburger place.

Food is okay, service is fine. I have had the Cheesesteak, the Flying Chicken, the Shrimp sandwich, a Hot dog, and a vanilla shake. I must say my favorite so far is the Flying Chicken though it’s not as big as I’d like. The cheesesteak was a decent size. The shrimp sandwich was great, but was disappointed in the amount of shrimp within the sandwich.

Within walking distance of the Willy P campus, this would be a good place for people to grab something to eat without having to lose their parking space(faculty/staff and students alike). The menu isn’t overwhelming and provides a good selection of things to choose from. I decided to try the MB Cheeseburger, small fries, and a large lemonade. I asked that my burger be cooked well-done since I’m expecting and have to be careful about the temperature. When I received my order, I immediately began eating because I was so hungry, and thankfully noticed that the meat was still a little pink. I had to take it back and asked them for another one– they were polite and good about this. They brought my burger back out to our table, and as the girl was walking back to the counter, I realized they had forgotten the tomatoes, but the meat was well-done this time around! My co-worker thankfully went and requested the tomatoes for me. After that was resolved, I finally had the chance to eat. Everything tasted great, and the proportions were good. They didn’t go too heavy on the sauce. I asked about the signature sauce and they told me it was a mixture of ketchup, mayo, and possibly something else– it was decent. This place reminds me of Shake Shack, but the local/small-town version. Prices were decent– I think you’d spend just about the same amount if you were to go to any of the other grills around the area. I really want to try their ice cream, so I’m sure we’ll back!

Very clean atmosphere, I feel like they are going for the«Shake Shack» look and atmosphere. The steak sandwiches were very good, and the fries and onion rings were yummy. Price was a tad on the high side but within reason. I didn’t have any of the desserts, but they looked to be very good and quite unusual. My feeling is that the desserts are going to be a «draw» to this new restraint and somewhat set this place apart from other similar offerings.

OVERPRICED food that is ehhhh. Belmont Grill is still the best. I couldnt believe that the brocolli n quinoa salad was $ 7, i thought I was going to make a meal out of it, but when I got it, it was literally 3 bites. And the pickles!!! Ugggghhhh. $ 3.50 for a little thing of nasty pickles… very disapointing! Will not be returning back.

I was hoping that this was going to be a good place. I was very disappointed. The burgers were nothing special and very overpriced. I ordered fries with chili and cheese assuming that for the high price, it would be real cheddar cheese but what I got was canned cheese sauce. I recommend going an extra mile to Belmont grill where at least you get quality food. I won’t be coming back.

The restaurant was very clean. Service was very good. We ordered the hot dogs, fries, fresh made donuts and shake and enjoyed everything. We will be going back to try some of the other items on the menu. I highly recommend Teddy’s favorite hot dog if you like Chicago dogs. The hot dogs are much better than what you would find at Sonic’s or the diner

This is the same location of the old Brother Bruno’s pizza place before they moved down the road. The new owners have updated this place tremendously! Much cleaner looking, new tables and chairs, front counter is gorgeous white granite. New everything! Food is good here. Got the cheesesteak with fries and onions rings. My wife got the burger. Everything was excellent! Portions were right size with the corresponding price point. We’ll be coming back.

We had lunch today and it was awesome. I am not one for writing reviews but i had to take the time because I am a hot dog aficionado. Mamma’s dogs are the best I have had, the balance between dog and bun ratio is perfect. They use potato rolls and in talking with the owner Paul the hot dog meat is his own blend. Designer hot dogs tailored to your taste. I had the dog all the way with jalapeños peppers. The chili is off the hook perfect blend of spices not hot or mild just right. The onion rings were perfectly cooked and delicious. My friend had M.B. Cheeseburger and fries. The sauce on the burger was so complimentary to the meat. The fries were crispy and hot. We also tried the cheese steak and it was out of this world, real juicy steak finely sliced with warm cheese oozing out. It was better then the one I had in philly. I will be going back often. I can not wait for dessert next time to build my own ice cream sandwich and lets not forget a milkshake. The service was very quick and what impressed me was the the owner, Paul spoke with every customer and his manger made it a point to speak with me as well. That to me is a sign of a great restaurant having great food and the owner take the time to talk and get to know his customers.

Been here twice now, the burgers are good, I wouldn’t recommend the special sauce, the overall burger is good though, just ask for your condiment of choice. The burgers are cooked medium, but it says that on the menu unless you request otherwise. The grilled cheese is the Michael Jordan of grilled cheese. 4 cheeses with bacon on Texas Toast. You won’t be disappointed. Chili cheese dogs are really good and the fries are OK as well. O, and you can build your own ice cream sandwich…

Went here for the first time today for lunch and was not very impressed. The food was meh. You’re better off going to Five Guys or Smash Burger. The service was relatively quick. We ordered three burgers, three drinks, fries, and onion rings… bill was approximately $ 28. Their«special» MB Cheeseburger has a «special» sauce as they claim(it’s basically the sauce found on Big Mac). The burgers were not cooked through, so if you like them well-done, make sure you let them know. The buns were cold, would have been better if they heated the burgers before serving them. Not to difficult to throw them on the grill for a few seconds. The fries were not too bad. The onions rings were horrible! They were super strong(even though they advertise it as sweet) and very«stringy». Stay away from the onion rings. Would I come back to this place? Most likely not. Would I recommend this place to others? Doubt it.
