I love this store. I found it last year and it was a TERRIFIC find. I can go in there and buy my sporty, yet chic cloths and not feel like a total jock. The Staff is super helpful and they carry so many great things! A must go when I need cloths!

They sell ARC’TERYX
— an uncommon but extraordinary brand that has pretty much remained distinctive and unrecognized by even the label whore at heart. Knowing nothing about the company’s impeccable reputation; over ten years ago, I purchased an Arc’Teryx ski jacket because it was petite, fit me well and the heavy price seemed fair for the sturdy but lightweight fabric. I’m pretty sure it’s the last coat I will buy. The quality, durability and warmth is incomparable, and after all this time, it still feels like new.
Out There Outfitters is a beautiful store located on a lovely, quaint block directly across the street from Teresa’s Next Door. If you’re still looking for last minute holiday ideas for your outdoorsy or discerning loved one, stop by — you won’t be disappointed. Their inventory is made up of only the best garments and gear, and the employees are very helpful.
They also sell Patagonia (another great company) which people seem to love.

I discovered this little place when my parents visited me a few years ago. It just so happened that there was an end-​of-​season sale. Pretty good selection and at reasonable prices. To put things in perspective, I have been to alot of EMS stores which all suffer from clearance rack syndrome with painfully ugly colors and/​or extremely large and small sizes. With REI, you fair better with selection and better prices at outlets. With LL Bean, the same is true except you are limited to only their products. With Out There Outfitters, I have found some of the best deals when compared to other outdoor stores. Name brand, quality products at reasonable prices for end-​of-​season sale. Staff is always helpful and can help with answering questions. Plus, there is a fitting room which you can try things out as well. Just be sure it’s what you want since final sales are final. I still have my Patagonia messenger bag which I love as well as a nice Mountain View rain jacket which beads up water beautifully. Sign up for email updates for great end-​of-​season sales.
