The store manager treats his employees like they are animals. He needs to learn how to treat people that work for him, he is very rude and I have seen him make an employee cry in the past. His name is Angelo. I live locally and I’m in quick check at least 3 times a day for gas and food. This man needs to be retrained because you can tell from the looks on the employees faces that they are not happy when they are there. He is also rude to customers. I avoid him in every way every time that I’m shopping and I have told him to change the way he speaks to his employees when he was yelling at the cashier once.

This is for Mohammed at the pump. I was there this morning and have to say how great it is to have someone like him who smiles, is polite, friendly and everything an exemplary employee should be!!!

Folks are very friendly and helpful at this facility, especially the gas attendant who seem to be very happy despite the weather. However, the coffee has been cold as well as the hot chocolate, dark roast is certainly not dark roast more like hot water. Attention to timers on coffee decanters should be more attentive.

After going here for years now, the service is getting worse and worse. Used to be able to go there and order a sandwich and be out the door in 10 minutes. Now when I go to quick chek it takes nearly 40 min no matter what time of the day!!! 12pm or 2 am it takes 40 minutes some how. Maybe corporate should take there head of of there you know what and do something about this! It isnt just this quick chek, the other one in Wayne that just was put in is just as bad!

There are good things and some things they need to work on. The place is clean and neat which I like. I also got gas here a couple of times and location is convenient. Today I ordered a sandwich and it took them at least 15 mins to make it. They are def. under staffed and need to hire more people. Prices are decent.

Staff is very friendly, even while/after dealing with RUDE college students. Cheapest cigarettes and gas in the area. Open 24 hours — BONUS!

From the outside: plenty of parking, plenty of gas venues and attendees. Pleasant sitting area with a great open field view. From the inside: plenty of inside seating, clean. Enough registers to keep the line moving, along with an associate who helps customers check out and cash lotteries. Always very welcoming and helpful. Wide variety of convenient store items and a large refrigerated section. Now for the self serve part, I give you a 10 of 10. Plenty of sodas, juices, icees, coffees, hot chocolates and even a milkshake section for those who don’t want to make a trip down to sonic. The sandwich bar is always well stocked and the service is as quick as could be. This place is great. But if you’re new to the area, the location is dangerous if driving. Most drivers at this intersection are most concerned about getting 1 car ahead. Just a safety tip.

Great place to eat and lots of excess parking for the crowded William Paterson parking lot and real low price for gas which makes this place my go to destination for lunch. I never thought anything could be better than Wawa until i discovered this place nearby. Their computer order system is unique and efficient, and the variety is far through the roof at this place.

This place is a god-send. I come here all the time for fuel and food. The food is affordable, regular essentials, and open 24⁄7. The parking is easy, and the location is unbeatable.

The gas price is the lowest in town. When it opened, it was really disorganized and sandwiches took a really long time but now they have their act together and the best cheap sandwiches for miles. No competition with Subway or the other national chain.

By far the nicest and cleanest quick check I ve been into, maybe because its near the university, or maybe it’s just is. Staff is friendly and personable, on top of that they have self service cash registers so you won’t have to stand in long lines . Sandwich areas is super busy, wish they could add another person to keep the flow going.

Great spot! Much needed gas station on this side of Wayne. They will make a fortune here, the 7 Eleven will never be able to compare. Very nice staff too! They have self service check out which was different. Also there are tables outside to sit and eat lunch. Great idea since its practically on the college campus from next door. The gas attendant was very nice and courteous also, that was a pleasant surprise.

I love this quick check. Anyone else who writes the place is a pigsty on a grand opening obviously has no idea what happens at a grand opening. Since I totally understand, opening several QSR’s. Your lucky if your feet are not cemented to the floor after it’s over from the mess. This is just the way it is dude. Anyway I am glad the kids have somewhere to go where they can be easily monitored. If you don’t like it then go to the 7 – 11 since they have plenty of parking and are not in the middle of a grand opening. It’s incredible to me that people write a bad review about a place for being busy. Anyway !! This place is great from start to finish. Those of you who are not so uptight will notice The great sandwich area and snack section. They also have a do it yourself shake machine. Also boosting a vast array of drinks, chips and store made cookies and desserts. Self check out is cool too. Good job quick check and keep up good work. As for 7 – 11 across the street I am sure they will be fine.

So this location just opened up about two weeks ago and I stopped in today after class to grab a quick lunch… The place was clean… There were tons of staff around, and everything in the store was stocked and organized. There’s a self check out, a seating area and most of the stations were very clean. It’s 2pm so I’m sure the morning mess was cleaned up but I can’t say much on that. my meal was good and I’m satisfied with my service. I’ll be coming back.

What a pigsty. We’re usually in one Quick Check store or another at least several times a week. This location, which opened last week, borders on the campus of William Paterson University, and it looked like the entire college was there when we stopped in. Just wall-to-wall students. College police were patrolling the Quick Chek parking lot, attempting to herd the caffeine junkies back towards the campus. Why don’t they just run a shuttle bus 24×7, between the campus and the Quick Chek? Unfortunately, like all Quick Chek stores, they were woefully understaffed. This is particularly true when you walk into any Q.C. on a Friday or Saturday night. Lines 15 or 20 deep at the checkout are not uncommon at their other locations that we’ve been to, with a single, solitary cashier peddling as fast as they can. But this was particularly inexcusable because it is this location’s Grand Opening, and they had to have known the place would be inundated with students. The coffee area was the worst. Drip pans under the coffee and cappuccino machines were overflowing onto the floor. The coffee bar, where they have the packets of sweetners, milk, crème, etc. was a sticky mess, and looked like an F5 tornado had just come through the store. The soda machines were close behind. There was garbage strewn everywhere. But we don’t blame the employees. They were clearly outnumbered and under seige. And then we looked across the street, at the deserted 7 – 11 store. The employees over there must have been lonelier than the Maytag repairman. Not a car to be seen in their lot. But I’m sure the 7 – 11 was a lot cleaner than this Quick Chek was, at least on this particular evening. Anyway, once the«new store smell» fades at this Quick Chek, I’m sure business will pick up for the 7 – 11 across the street. Oh, and they have a gas station. Sweet. Now we can get gas at the Quick Chek, and we can get gas at their pumps, too. BTW, their gas(oline) prices are pretty reasonable, but Costcos that have gas stations still got them beat. Place is brand new. Parking lot is huge. Area right there was missing a place for good coffee, breakfast lunch and a variety of other meal choices. Also the gas. I forgot to count how many pumps. Self checkout may be a bit hard at first if your not use to it but there are plenty of staff there to help and keep the lives moving. The sandwiches are made to order as well as some which are pre made. Salads fruit. Any type of drink your looking for. I have been waiting for this place to open. Think it’s great. College is right behind it so business should be booming. Free med coffee until nov 10th and 2.99 sandwiches. Great deals and prices are on point. Stop by fill up the car and grab something from this place.
