Sonia M Gof, MD

Dr. GOF has been my obgyn the past 5 years and I can only speak good things about her and her staff. I had such an awesome experience with her throughout my first pregnancy and delivery that I continued to go to her office for my second pregnancy/​delivery. even though we moved 45 minutes away. She really, truly is compassionate and caring, listens and has great bedside manner. Her staff are friendly and helpful. One thing that is a tiny bit inconvenient is that her office is not equipped an ultrasound machine so she’ll send you to another facility or hospital in the area when one is needed.

I have been a patient of Doctor Gof for over 2 years now and absolutely love her. Im a high risk patient and have a history involving surgeries.
I recently had 3 biopsies based on testing positive and was told my results would be ready in a week, that was as of Monday ¹¹⁄₁₁. Everytime I have called Ive been told that the Doctor is still reviewing my results. When I called Thursday I was told that the Doctor had no patience and was just making calls. I didn’t get a call and now it’s Friday and they are closed.
I called the Lab and they emailed my results but now I dont know how to read them. Im very disheartened with Dr. Gof’s practice. Clearly I am not important enough to get back to.
She is a very caring, compassionate doctor but when you need her she is impossible to contact and clearly doesnt have staff that can help.
I hate looking for a new Doctor!

Look, we all know that a visit to the gynecologist is pretty far down on the list of things we enjoy doing. But if you have to go – and we all do – Dr. Gof is the absolute best doctor there is. She puts you at ease immediately and before you know it, the appointment is over. Now, if only I could find a dentist like this…
