Locals still call it the C-Store, as it was known by that name for years, before being bought by the Valero chain. Prices of gas are average to a few cents below other places nearby. Right off 104, and west of the Village of Sodus, this place gets plenty of business, and at times it can be difficult to pull out of the lot, especially if you have to cross traffic, given the speed of cars and trucks flying down 104. In addition to the standard coffees and sodas and packaged foods on the shelves, they used to have a mini cafeteria inside selling pizza slices, french fries, fried chicken and other deep-fried fast food type non-delicacies that would sit under hot lamps waiting for consumption. I forgot to check on my most recent stop to see if they still do that. The hours on this place used to be 24÷7÷365, but that has fluctuated at times over the years. It has been rumored, only rumors, that when there were changes, it was usually after the place had been the scene of some misfeasance. All the same, I probably would not plan my trip so to stop here at 2 in the morning.
