I am a patient at Carillion Heath located in Waynesboro, VA. I have talked to this office about the lack of a modern phone system due to having to interrupt my day with redialing the number because I constantly get a busy signal. Today, for example, I attempted to reach the office 27 times with each time resulting in a busy signal. The 28th time I called I finally got an answer. I can see where having a person, rather than an automated system, would prove to be personal and give the illusion that you care about your customer. For me, it has done quite the opposite. I have to spend more time trying to get through on a line than an automated system. If I am on hold, I can simply mute my phone and listen for the next available attendant. When there is a busy signal, I have to continue to interrupt my day to dial in to the office, kinda like trying to win tickets off a radio show type feel. I am frustrated by the time the attendant gets to me… or rather I get an attendant. Please pass this information to the appropriate people within your company for discussion. Overall care – good Customer Service – severely lacking
