Very friendly staff who wanna make sure you get what you want!
I just got a medium-​size coffee with a few pumps of vanilla.
It was absolutely fresh and delicious.
I honestly didn’t know it’s only drive-​thru with two lanes so wasted some time walking around.
Overall, I had a great experience and would surely recommend it to others who both want to taste a good coffee and have a quick chat with some best people of Waynesboro!

On my recent trip up the Blue Ridge Parkway, I needed some caffeine before my ascent of nearby Crabtree Falls. I’d visited the area many times as a child, camping at Sherando Lake, and my parents would come to Waynesboro to stock up on provisions. This little coffee place is a tiny oasis of hip in an otherwise drab and colorless town. The barista was cool and cute and the coffee made with care.

Yum. Great coffee, and they have fresh donuts from Strite’s on Fridays. Service is great, though because it’s a one-​person booth, can be a little slow if you’re in line to get to work on time. Overall though, best coffee in Waynesboro.

This is my favorite coffee shop in Waynesboro. They use beans roasted in nearby Lexington & are meticulous about how the espresso is brewed so you are not left with that yucky burnt taste. Caramel lattes (or macchiatos for you Starbucks regulars) are my favorite, & unlike most chains, they use actual caramel SAUCE, not a caramel-​flavored syrup. They also make their own whipped cream, which tastes heavenly. They do serve chai & smoothies, but I much prefer this spot for espresso based drinks only. Everything you order is fantastic hot, iced, or frozen– you can even buy bags of their amazing coffee beans (whole or ground to your specifications). Make sure to tip your barista– they do a fantastic job!

Micah’s is an oasis for a coffee snob stuck in a desert of really bad drip brews. Trust me, it is not easy to find a solid cup of joe in Waynesboro, but Micah’s does a great job. It’s a two lane drive through, single person ‘shack’ in the Ace Hardware parking lot. Don’t let the looks turn you away! The guy working is super friendly and efficient. I haven’t sampled the espresso drinks, but the drip is great (must be using quality beans). It is basically this or Starbucks for your morning jolt. Wouldn’t you rather support the local guy?
