The food here is excellent! I had number 14(the most popular) the fried shrimp and tilapia with hush puppies. This is a simple bare bones restaurant. Expect to use plastic utensils and eat from a styrofoam plate. The food is excellent and the price is very reasonable. I will be going back!

This is a FANTASTIC homestyle Mom and Pop seafood restaurant, I hadn’t really noticed it before even though it’s been open 8 months. The guy at the furniture shop down the street sung its praises so I decided to try it. WOWEEE glad I did. Blown away. I had the tilapia and honestly, it was the best fish I’ve had in forever. It took me right back to being a kid when my Uncle Truman would catch a bunch of catfish and Aunt Dorothy would cornmeal batter fry it all up and invite the whole family over. The fish at Seafood Shack was cooked to perfection: flavorful, TENDER, masterfully seasoned. The hushpuppies were also homemade and tender and slightly sweet. The nice couple took personal care and interest in me. Their fish can be cooked bone-in(more flavor) and then they serve it de-boned so you get two filets, perfectly cooked, and a price that is flat out generous. The prices can’t be beat, some of the sandwiches were $ 5.99 I went back to the furniture guy and gave him a big thank you for recommending the place. . . p. s. You know what I totally saw the sign about it being a Godly establishment and I’m an atheist myself. I totally disagree with the poster from Acworth who didn’t bother to go inside and see what’s up. I interpret the sign as a clumsy attempt to say they don’t want people coming into their restaurant and talking a bunch of trash or acting in a way that isn’t family-friendly. It must be hard starting a restaurant from scratch, jeez, give them a break on that sign, get past it and enjoy some of the best seafood you’re going to find around.

This restaurant has a sign out front that speaks for itself. It’s absolutely disgusting that human beings would act this way. I do not suggest visiting this establishment at all. It’s not a welcoming sort of environment for anyone when the establishment decides to threaten customers with this sign. Religion should not be used for hatred.
