Hidden gem with fantastic hibachi and sushi! The outside appearance does not sell the quality food inside. If you’re a sushi fan, you MUST get the Sylva roll. Plenty of food for a really good price!

Our favorite sushi place in Asheville/Waynesville area! We enjoy cooked sushi and theirs is superb! We are here at least once per week! Yum! Their iced tea is really good too.

Worst service I have ever received in my life. Waitress clearly wanted to be anywhere but there, treated my grandmother so rudely for asking questions about the menu. Will never return. I don’t know how people keep employment with that kind of attitude.

Scallops and shrimp hibachi were excellent!!! The staff were wonderful and so was the ambience. EVERYTHING is fresh, nothing frozen!!!

This was the third or fourth time I’ve eaten there when visiting friends. The service is very quick and the food always delicious. I had the steak and chicken. Very good.

I got Hibachi scallops, they were all chopped up and over-cooked. Extremely generic, frozen vegetables. Pretty sure the miso soup is a powdered mix…2/5 won’t go again. I’d much rather go to Sake or Ganko.

How fun we found a great sushi place in North Carolina. Yummmm! Nice people working here also.

This location makes me frustrated. I would suggest that if you order anything over the phone that you are very specific with your order and have the up to date menu.(As far as sushi goes.) I have received bad customer service a few times and on occasion a messed up/forgotten item. Sometimes the quality is good, other times so so.

Good sushi, and if you don’t get there when the crowds are there, they are very fast… I stopped by and picked up a sushi roll last night(Sunday night) and it was as fast as going to Wendy’s or Burger King. I love the Green Dragon Roll… :-)

Used to drive to Asheville, Brevard or Hendersonville for good Sushi… but no more. This compares favorably with their best. Extensive offerings(Catamount my personal fave… also the Volcano roll). The other Japanese offerings will please the uninitiated… but this is a great place to venture out…

Fast, cheap and(most importantly) delicious Teppanyaki-style Japanese ~ without the show. Proteins include steak, chicken and seafood. Want it on the sweet side? Look for the teriyaki selections. Like it more savory? Go hibachi. Whatever you select, expect generous side servings of perfectly cooked and seasoned friend rice and sweet carrots. Nice appetizers, including a delightful veggie tempura. The ginger soy dipping sauce is addictive. Also addictive: The White Sauce(of course, I want you to leave the bottle; can you also provide a really big straw?). Great food; great value. Only downside: Word is out and there’s a bit of a wait at peak times. Guess what? It’s worth it. PS I am not at all an experienced Sushi eater. However I’ve been told by several patrons that Kobe’s made-to-order bar is a great place to start. «I’m going in!»
