Mountain Mist Inn

This is a wonderful B&B. The rooms are so comfortable and unique. The property is just beautiful inside and out and the views are awesome. The breakfasts are top notch and plentiful. Dina and Carolyn’s hospitality can’t be beat and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. We look forward to coming back many times.

An AMAZING getaway! In addition to the beautifully kept property, location, amenities, and outstanding breakfast, Carolyn and Dina are what make Mountain Mist Inn special. In my opinion, no other B&B, from the good to great ones I have stayed in, have the quality of service and hospitality that Carolyn and Dina provide. We stayed four nights, invited my parents up to stay for one, and enjoyed every moment of it!

The best place for a getaway! My fiancée and I have been here twice and we have nothing but great things to say about it.
We actually got engaged at Waynesville and had a great day at Asheville. The hostesses, Carolyn and Dina, made the weekend extra special for us!

This is not your typical Victorian style B&B — but don’t write this place off. Nestled in a small town 30 minutes from Asheville, NC you will find a normal looking on story house with beautiful landscaping.
Carolyn and Dina made our stay wonderful, they are welcoming with good personalities and a fun sense of humor.
They catered to our gluten allergy, and I don’t mean eggs and bacon. They made from scratch banana muffins and peach muffins. YUMMY!
The house is well kept, everything is neat and tidy. We really liked our room, hickory hill, it was a mix between golf and Victorian, sounds odd right? It definitely works though in this room. Our bed was ridiculously comfortable and our room was very sufficient in size. The bathrooms are all brand new and very clean and crisp.
The grounds are well kept, we went during the «winter» so things were not in bloom, but you can tell the innkeepers take pride in their gardens. The back of the house, sitting room and dining room look out go the balsam mountains.
Dina is also a licensed massage therapist, huge bonus when you are the owner of a B&B. She gives them in room, super relaxing.
We plan on going back when it warms up since the B&B is located within walking distance of three-​9 hole golf courses and a spa for the ladies :)
