Hirshfield’s Decorating Center

I came here 1) in search of Benjamin Moore navy paint swatches and 2) because it is conveniently located near my home. I walked in at 6 PM and was the only customer, yet I was not greeted by either employee. In fact, I was not acknowledged in any way– a wave, a head nod, or even a glance. I walked directly to the Benjamin Moore section and pulled samples for ten minutes before another customer walked in. She requested paint samples and was helped immediately. After a few minutes, I was the only customer again but still no «Can I help you?» Finally, after 25 minutes I had selected all of my paint swatches and headed toward the door. I walked directly past the register without a «Have a good evening.» Instead, the woman employee had moved from her computer to the front desk and was spitting profanities regarding a technical issue. If you know exactly what you want, this would be a fine option. However, choose another place if you are looking for helpful and friendly employees.
